Looks great....even the " coffee in a park" at the beginning of the film. One of the things which makes FP4 the best reversal film is his amount of silver. It is the highest, compared to al other

Переводить 120 пленку на столь тривиальные сюжеты-непозволительная роскошь для меня.

Can you add a sound track during this process?

Hello sir. When you digitize super 8 film, can you place a sound track with it at the same time or sync it later?
@AnalogResurgence

You can add sound digitally during editing if you want to, but you cannot add sync sound onto the film itself.

I have an R10 in great condition. I have shot Ektachrome 100D, Vision3 50D, Tri-X and Vision3 200T. The film “shake” (not me shaking the camera) was quite noticeable on my first cartridge (100D) but in the second cartridge (50D) it was way less. I am waiting to get my first Tri-X back and have it scanned and see how it compares in terms of shakiness.

Wow! What a beast of a camera. I thought the Keystone A-3 was a heavy camera from that era.

Thank-you! Using an orange filter with Ortho film should be interesting. I'm guessing? it will let more blue spectrum through.

I guess I like more contrasty film. I used Neopan about 20? years ago and loved the results. I just developed 12exp test of 400Tx Professional in TMax developer at +10yrs after expiry date and got what seem to be nice results, under the loupe mind you. (100' roll and I have HP5 Plus in a 100' roll.) Thanks for your discussion!

Aye, let's just keep beating that poor 'privilege' noun into the mud with our currentday politics. A great demonstration video this has been, nevertheless, and I am most thankful and grateful for your simple and accessible way of presenting it all throughout. Many thanks!

There are only THREE serious film manufactures any more (Kodak, Ilford, Fujifilm), the rest are experimental reboots with knowledge, tech, and skills lost, or just brand names sold using rebranded film from those aforementioned companies.

You said that you can develop color negative film in E6. You can also develop color negative in black and white chemicals. You just don't get any color out of it. And it still has the orange layer.

Hey! I just got a medium format camera as a gift for my birthday and it included a 800 iso film. The camera has a maximum of 400 iso setting. In that case I’ll need ti set my camera with 400 iso using a 800 iso film roll? I will need to shoot in sunset light to avoid getting really dark results?

The film in the 80s and 90s was 1000 times better! 10 per pack and it developed fast without being sensitive to light after exiting the camera. It was magical stuff.

i wonder how bad the quality would have been to fit 36 exp onto one floppy disk. a mavica for example can fit 25-40 low quality 640x480 jpegs into one floppy, which really are not great images to the modern eye...

This just makes me wonder why Kodak didn't make the disc cameras actually useful and make them into automatic view master type cameras. Imagine how great it would have been to have an easy to load disc, and then you get it back developed and mounted as a view master disc.

Well 800T is actually Kodak Vision 3 500T so you're pushing 500 to 3200 so it all makes sense :P @3:15 this is what I noticed and really started to HATE about film youtubers. Willem doesn't deserve the clicks he gets. Grainydays is corny but actually dedicates portions of the video going into the grain/color shifts/exposure problems/scanning technique/etc

My only complaint about the “comparison” is the lack of objectivity. “The flash didn’t fire” but yet you showed it as if it were an equivalent comparison. If human or mechanical error happens then do not present it as a comparison. That’s basic.

Wonderful video; thank you very much!! I had gone to film school in the 1980s and had heard of 9.5mm film; (one professor even had a 9.5mm film projector in his office!) - - but I didn't know half of what you had shown here about the format's history and availability!

Rollei Superpan 200 in hard lighting conditions is absolutely fabulous. Especially if you have a lot of texture and natural contrast in your image. It really shines! I push it one stop in process. But I like mostly black and white images with not a lot of tonal range...:)

Hi! Great video, I have the Yashika camera and wanted to ask two questions: 1. I shot one roll with it in the past and the footage came out great, but some of them have a kind of blue stripe that I wonder if it happened because I may have inserted and removed the film from the camera cartridge many times (for the purpose of filming for my KZbin channel) I am attaching a link for you to see this stripe and maybe you can Help me figure out what to do so it doesn't happen again kzbin.info/www/bejne/eqTQiHVpgrNqa7Msi=UuET19F0TdkubTAy 2. I'm supposed to shoot a show with this camera next week when the lighting conditions aren't the most ideal. My question is if it will be able to handle it? And is it possible to upload the film in one stop during development? Thank you so much for the video!

I remember we had a movie viewing day, which I think was around Christmas in the mid to late 90s in elementary school in the gym and our librarian at the time set up the 16mm projector and an amplifier with two speakers. One film I remember seeing on the "big screen" (the school's projection screen above the stage) was Operation Dumbo Drop.

Hey Noah! I just recently bought a 16BL, and it can infact take 100ft spools! If you take the Core adapters out. It'll just waste a bit making the loop. And at 24 fps sync it goes by realllll quick 😅

I didn't expect professional quality for £170, but this is very disappointing. The main problem with it is the excessive increase in contrast: the highlights and shadows are just featureless on the copies of most slides.
