I have a ‘13 RT 44k miles and from neutral to 1st you can not hear or feel the engagement. You simply see the ‘1’ on the display and I’ve ridden up too 6 hrs without major discomfort. Fantastic.

Hi Grumpy, good to see you again. Keep making videos of police car modifications, they're fun to watch. I'm glad there will be videos with the motorcycle. Do you still have the R1250RS? Best regards from Poland 😀👍

MERRY CHRISTMAS GRUMPY! I looks like 7 years since I last watched this. How was your R12R experience ? In fall of 2014, I bought a nice 2014 R1200R. Of the 28 bikes I have owned, it sits at the top of the list for sure.

Your lens has a smudge on it that is annoying to watch through. It looks out of focus. The audio is crackling.

Ahh cool, we live like 15 minutes away from each others! World is a small place, nice to see someone from my region doing some great stuff, we'll see us on the road for sure! Nice bike and great channel!👌✌(P.s. I ride in your area almost every time I am alone and get the urge for a little ride!😜)I just hope you are doing alright, since you haven't been doing anything here for over a year...

Ton français est très bon mon cher, i just found your channel this morning, and already watched many of your videos. Let me say, you do some good stuff! We are neighbours, I am in Dorion, we have about the same motorcycling history, i am 50 so you are 2 years older than me...Anyways, take care and keep up the beautiful work, I will look up to it for sure!

Had an 05 RTSE, 07 RT, 98 1100s and currently a 2013 R1200R Classic (I've had and tracked 5 RR's, one a 2015 I took the DDC off and installed Ohlins) I much prefer the telelever front ends, they just plain suit the way I ride as well as the crap roads in Australia, I had no problem scraping the rocker covers on any of the boxers... Oh and a 1974 R90s... Rode Harleys for years, even had two M8 engined ones a few years ago and after riding BMW's for around 12 years I don't care how cool a Harley looks any more, these specially my 2005 R1200RTSE was the best, it looked like it weighed 400kg and blew everyone away.

Well I see this was some time ago, but may be of use for others, motoscan app and an OBD2 scanner plus a cable adapter, both from Aliexpress for less than $15 for both, plus $30 for the app, will do everything you'll need.

Just watched your 20km and 30km videos of this bike. Looking at buying the exact same bike, same year, same color. Local seller is asking $10,500 USD including top and side cases, Premium pkg w/Dynamic ESA, and bark busters. It has 14,600 km on it. Any thoughts on what's a fair price to pay? Am I wise to buy one? Or look for something else? Will use it for leisure riding, running errands, probably won't put a ton of miles on it. Used to have an R1100S and that was too sporty for casual riding.
@GrumpyMan2 жыл бұрын
That seems like a good price. It’s a great all around bike, I did all kinds of rides with mine.. I liked it so much I bought another! Well, an RS, but same awesome motor

@@GrumpyMan Cool, thanks much. Just made an appointment for a test ride tomorrow morning. Stopping off at the bank on the way there. LOL BTW Montreal is my favorite city in the world. I'm sure I'll take a ride up there someday. I rode from San Francisco to Anchorage on my R1100S in 4 days. Man were my neck and wrists sore after that! (Was resting my chin on the tank going 141 mph almost the entire way across BC.)

The cost of the plate here in quebec is too expensive for 6 months of riding.Beside im a pround owner of a Kawasaki Concours and with all the change ive made on it (raise handlebars,RUSSEL tournig seat, ATLAS cruise control,Vance&Hines slip) on, its a joy to ride on highways or twistie road fast comfy reliable no chain maintenance and it does cost an arm tom plate it what more do you want. GREAT video man keep on riding and be safe.

You probably can, but honestly lane splitting is illegal in Canada so I didn’t try

I very rarely split lanes and the mirrors are wide. All it takes is some jerk to quick-switch lanes at 10 mph... Be careful!

Just fitted the exhaust side pannier mount. My r1250 has a nut welded to the exhaust to you dont use the included nut and washer. However the manual says the mount should be on the inside of the exhaust mount. Mine only fits on the outside of the exhaust mount (just like your video). Rubbish instructions.
