Just went to Sodom mountain to check out the sites and campground. We live about a half hour from there..but never knew they had winter camping. No one in the office so I went in the laundry room and talked to a couple campers..RV ers.No tent sites or cabins as the water in those areas are shut off for the winter. All the seasonal tv's are all parked in a field near the office building.Couldn't drive thru as you need a key card for the gate to the camping areas! Unless your a seasonal camper that doesn't mind everyone being so so close in a field don't waste your time.Would of liked to scope it out for summer...also it is $60 a night for a tent site..a bit pricey and$100 for a small cabin. I guess Ill stick with the state parks ..much more affordable ,especially when it cost an arm and leg for wood..$7.50 a bundle there.Anyways thanks for your videos ..I plan on checking a few of them out as SOON as possible! Jonesing to go camping again! Have a great Thanksging!!

I wish I had a creepy camping ghost story but I don't, but I guess my scariest camping experience was while walking by the truck on day two of a camping trip and noticing the gas tank hanging crookedly. I’m with Lee on this one. Generators are ok, but with neighborly discretion. Technology has come a long way, I can’t see where you need much more than some dedicated batteries and solar. I imagine the generator going 24-7 is due to an Rv running an air conditioner non-stop and hook ups aren’t available. As far as being a ‘prepper’ goes… yep, guilty. lol I even have a bug-out bag ready to go at a moments notice.

Definitely not a fan of hearing generators especially at night when I want to enjoy the quiet and my fire. Even the quiet ones can still be heard when the campground is still. Unfortunately, there are always a few selfish people who only consider what they want and don't respect the relaxation and enjoyment of others. I'm not opposed to them being used, but it should be during limited daytime hours so that folks can charge batteries etc. I appreciate the fact that many campgrounds have specific generator hours. I don't appreciate the folks that are selfish and ignore those times. As to being prepared, yup, I've been feeling that same vibe too. So many crazy things going on in our country and the world right now, I think we need to start thinking like that.

A generator is a great option for being able to boondock and in CT you have to shut it down by the latest 10pm at state parks. I went with the duel fuel champion brand witch is 4500 watts and will run a single RV air conditioner and all the receptacles ,lights , refrigerator and even the microwave at the same time. Also its very quiet for the power it puts out. Also i would like to see product reviews for the stuff you guys use.
