Fall 1978. I was beginning my senior year high school. Disco music was at its peak but dying a slow death and Gerry Rafferty and others - were now singing this new genre called Lite Rock (Yacht Rock) which along with country/western music would dominate the airwaves after Disco died in the first quarter of 1980.

I turn 59 on the last day of october 2024, the flood of awsome memories washes over me everytime I hear this song! man what a blessed man i am to have been able to grow up in the 70/80s, definitelly the greatest time in America! anything was Possible ! I made so many mistakes along the way but God always extwnds mercy and forgiveness my way and he gives me great comfort in music like this!

I once heard this song on the car radio during a nighttime trip to the hospital and since then I’ve been looking for it ever since and now, because my friend used it on their Instagram story. I found it.
