Both sides were literally just working fine yesterday. I replaced my driver side a few years ago. Now all of a sudden both sides are blowing hot. Would the one you replaced fix both?
@KayDroTechnologies25 күн бұрын
No... you will have to test both sides, and replace one or both actuators

Hey man my 2015 q50 driver side would blow hot so I would crank it to 80 then back down to 60 and it would work fine now the driver and passenger blows hot air even after I crank it up and change it back where should I start?? Don’t want to chase parts lol!!!

@nazarbarabash6381Ай бұрын
BTW, that could be done on the road without scanner and spending time and $. Next time when you need it, stopping on traffic light turn steering wheel left 90`+ then turn it right 90`+, do this twice. Start moving keeping vehicle straight and do 40mph+ during 20 sec. when have a chance stop$start engine and it will be calibrated.
@gienr25 күн бұрын
Calibrated as in the steering wheel will turn like in the video on its own after doing what you said?
@nazarbarabash6381Ай бұрын
After calibration, steering wheel was not in straight position. it was a bit turned to the right. Mechanic adjusted it and what was next? did he reset steering position angle? did he reset it overall before or after DAS calibration?
@KayDroTechnologies25 күн бұрын
The steering wheel adjusted to "center" after like a couple miles.

Thank you for sharing this information. I learned a lot about Nissan and Inifniti's role in innovating the torque converter automatic transmission. The symptoms you described in your G37 was exactly the same event happening with the 2015 Genesis 5.0 automatic transmissions. Hyundai\Genesis re-programmed and made some improvements to the transmission in 2018, and as you said leaps and bounds. Shifts were much smoother, the hunting for gears has been remediated, shifting became quicker and so forth. Again, thank you for sharing, I've learned a lot from your video. My VW Passat TDI has a DSG and it requires a fluid change every 40,000 miles and it is mandatory for the life of the vehicle.

So I’ve came back to this video and the longer version of it. I think that it’s amazing that you were able to get some documentation of all this because it’s basically the only documentation of it video wise on all of the Internet as far as I can tell, I do understand now the DAS better and won’t fuck with my toe on my own ever again, just because I couldn’t recalibrate it’s been really pulling right I adjusted it back to the original specs from before I did it via marks on my tire rod end and the lock nut and counting rotations, it’s better but not back to before and it was barely off before so I don’t know how it became so off with so little adjustment.. the das is over compensating the steering and I’m having to take it in now to a infiniti dealer because all is lost and my tires are gonna pay for my mistake

I've watched too many videos of tear downs on higher mileage VR30 engines where the intake valves are completely caked with carbon. If you're planning on keeping your Q50 or Q60 long term, an oil catch can should be the first thing you do to the vehicle, whether you're planning to mod or not.
