He doesn't not say what he believes just because powerful people might not like it. He supported Bernie because he's a good judge of character and wanted the best for everyone else, he's got freaking healthcare and a good wage. He's just really the perfect guy. I think it's safe to say that this scene makes us all miss our parents and our childhood. I still have a great bond with my parents and I'm 30, but I will always miss those years where my momma used to make me breakfast and I was always in a hurry to walk to school. I think about it every now and then and it makes me shed a tear.b

It feels crazy to grow up with this movie. Cus I watched this movie a lot with the family when I was young and this was just the scene where Jenna's sad to me since she finds out she became a terrible person. But when I gave this a rewatch alone as an adult -- this is the scene that breaks me all the time. To feel that the world doesnt want you because you grew up to be a terrible person and there isnt anything you can do about it. So you try your shot with your parents who you took for granted for many years. And they still take you in like you never left. Its. Its crazy powerful. One of the best very real scenes that deal with maturity Ive seen in movies. And man, understanding Billy Joel's "Vienna" in the background as well -- a song that desperately asks you to slow down in life. Its. Man. RIP Gary Winick, incredible direction.
