When I saw this, I promised myself I wouldn’t still live at home by 30. Unfortunately, I couldn’t keep that promise. Though I was done with college and earned a degree, the economy had gone bad and employers were only hiring people with experience instead of training people in order to save money. It took me a few years after turning 30 to move out. But I had already met my sweetheart and she was also living at home(because she likes being close to family). But these days a lot of people are still living at home due to the economy.

I was Matt in high school. Always nice and had a big crush on the pretty girl who I was also best friends with. I used to be called ugly and all. But as I got older my friendship w the girl I crushed on hard disappeared after graduation. Every time I watch this movie I would think what became of Tom-Tom (Lucy) in the end. She probably ended up marrying Grandy and living miserably in a trailer park and like him, her cruel personality caught up with her looks, it would serve her right for destroying Jenna's friendship with Matt in the first place, and thank God that Jenna got the chance to go back to her 13 year old self, returning her love for Matt, and gave that little manipulative bitch a taste of her own medicine. Wished that could happen in real life. To teenagers out there, be careful with choosing who your friends are, keep the real friends that you've known longer, and really see if you all can get along with each other. Don't take them for granted.

Allen, meets a high school guy there who's also a hunk. Chris Grandy does not look very good for 30 but the truth is Jim Gaffigan(Chris) was actually 38 when this movie was made. But also Mark Ruffalo(Matt) was actually 37 when this movie was made and Matt looks good. So I guess it still evens out. But Jim and Mark are both happily married to beautiful women and have kids with them. P.S. Jennifer Garner(Jenna) was 32 when this movie was made.
