I am a long time fully trained and graduate of the LSA Laser Safety Course, as well as technician responsible for maintenance and upkeep of high powereed class 4 CO2, Nd/Yag, and similar industrial laser systems used in semiconductor and ceramic production. And as a hobby, I have designed laser light shows and control systems for entertainment effects, while understanding the dangers and precautions required to stay safe from any direct, reflected or specular potentially damaging effects. That said, I found this review, the first that I have seen by you specifically, to be refreshingly honest and free of any bias, while informing me of the specs that I need to know and the practical appearance and power effects as well as addressing you impressions of the available beam expander which is a tool that is not understood by most as to its method of reducing divergence, etc. So thank you, as I plan to be buying lasers in this class for a project that I am working on, and the published specs in the majority of such lasers are at best, almost fictional, and not specific enough to order a laser with confidence that it will perform to my expectations. I subscribed and look forward to your great detailed reviews/ demos and thoughts on lasers. Thanks John Millington

Does this method disprove curvature of the earth? As light reflecting off objects in tne ocean would seem to disappear behind the horizon as the reflected light is refracted downward. The denser the air the shorter the horizon appears away. Thoughts? Also when doing this experiment the flat bottom of the tank filled with the solution appears to bow up looking corned. Thoughts?
