An unexpected surprise, but a welcome one! Although the timeline does confuse me a bit. Since Maya hasn't gone to Khura'in yet, and Pheonix was represented by his trilogy sprite, this would have to take place not too long after Iris' trial? Even though most intepretations of Iris' sentence are at least a couple years in jail (not explicitly canon, but it does make sense).

I always found it kinda odd that they never acknowledged that Pearl and Iris are siblings, though I can certainly think of another sibling plot that has gone unresolved for a long time

I sense underrated content

I always found it kinda frustrating that capcom never brought up Iris again, the spoiler rule is really holding stories back. Seeing this fills that hole in my heart in a way.

The title need some specification like add "after Phoenix lose his badge."

The whole first part where Mia puts Diego against the wall and makes him admit he had no plan somewhat bothers me, because... He already admits that in the trial. While Maya strongly believes in the fact he was trying to protect her, he denies, saying himself that if it was his real goal, he would have talked to Phoenix. So having him try to justify here that he was trying to protect Maya, doesn't work very well, if we go by what happened in canon, I feel like? Also I believe even as a ghost, Mia would have seen the end of the trial and wouldn't try to put more blame on him, that wouldn't feel like her. But I like everything from 4:14 onwards, at this point it really feels like how they would reunite.

Another idea: Godot confronts Redd White, which will be interesting since Godot is facing Mia’s killer.

Overall, Godot have a huge number of chances to protect Maya. But in the end, his selfishness, ego and blind thirst of vengeance is what led to what happened in Bridge to the Turnabout.

Heh, it was actually kind of comedic how many past incidents the judge brought up. It made the disbarment sound much more legitimate than it did in canon.
