My Akita is not aggressive. Yona is loyal ,sweet, and very loving. It's all in the training. I found your video misrepresenting the Akita breed!

My Akita is a gentle sweetheart. She's over 3 and even though she won't get along with some dogs when they get together (however, she does have her friends), she loves all people and toddlers too. She adores them. So cute 🥰

I lost 2 dogs within the past 2 years. One lasted 17 years (mixed breed) and the other one lived only for 7y (english foxhound) If i ever get another dog, it has to be a non shedding one ! Because both of my dogs shredded like crazy , especially the hound

@@xMysticJulia I've had Cresties for 20 years. Going from having great Danes, Rotties to having these amazing little dogs. They're very loyal and love their humans. They don't carry on like poodles and chihuahua n yap allot. I've never met one that's nasty either.. They may be a bit quiet and back away from strangers at first but that doesn't last very long that I do know I've had three over the years.. Depending what colour you have and how the individual attitude of the dog is, I mean how they deal with cold, is the level of care you need to give. I give my Dr Fu Manchu a wipe over once a week with a warm flannel then put cocoanut oil on for his skin. I make a charcoal scrub which I give him once a month to deep cleanse his skin and this really helps with no pimples... Fu's skin is perfect. Puff Chinese Cresteds require a quick brush one a day like any long haired dogs but they look like Rock stars.. Training can be challenging. The genetics are from African wild dogs so can be stubborn, arrogant and I've know them to hold a grudge for years.. lol.. But they love to please and the comedy and laughter their crazy antics bring is like no other dog I've ever had. .. The Joy and laughter Cresties bring wherever they go and the fact they can live easily over 15yrs it's a blessing in all ways.. They really are totally wonderful very robust little dogs and I haven't got much bad to say about the breed at all.. ♥️

Their rolling gait is due to their hind legs being longer than their front legs, and their front legs being bowed; their front paws will point noticeably outward, whereas their hind paws will point forward. They were bred that way so they couldn't wander too far in the imperial palace.

My ChowChow was loyal and totally affectionate. He was well behaved ACCEPT he would let no strangers near us. We were country dwellers so it was fine. He was a great guard dog but would be inside trying to sit on our laps. Loved that dog and will have another one.

WHY do you have that pug-nosed dog in there? He may behairless but he IS NOT a Chinese Crested! Although your facts were good, the addition of that dog was ridiculous and off-putting.

This "informative" video has more photos of Tibetan Spaniel than Pekingese! The Tibetan has a short but wrinkle-less, well defined, muzzle unlike the Peke or Japanese Chin. The Peke doesn't have a muzzle per se so the nose is up against the skull. The Tibetan has short hair on body, front legs and ears. Pekes have very thick, very long (drags on the floor) hair all over. Tibetans, when combed about twice a week and bathed every 2 months, doesn't mat. Pekes must be combed every day or mats very easily.. like a Persian cat. Pekes eyes are set very wide, sometimes walleyed, and low on face. They are related but distinctly different dogs. The Tibetan Spaniel is growing in popularity but being used to promote the Peke in a "information video" isn't helpful.

So many fun facts about this breed. It is one of the 15 high profile breeds designated by the Kennel Club as requiring particular monitoring by reason of visible conditions which may cause health and welfare concerns. Health and welfare problems due to their exaggerated conformation (Body shape and physical characteristics): Brachycephalic ocular syndrome, due to the Pekingese’s extremely short head and consequential shape and position of the eyes. Brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome (BOAS) (also due to head shape) Stenotic nares Suffering in hot weather, due to the above and hair abundance. Difficulty eating, due to mouth deformities. Dystocia Intertrigo (facial fold skin disease) Hemivertebrae Caused by selection for curly tail. Etc. Educate yourselves, folks. Suffering is not a personality trait.

American Akitas were in Japan before they ended up in America The Japanese breed the dog to be bigger for fighting before they outlawed Akitas fighting This is why the other dog was created (can't remember the breed offhand) the mastiff

I consider my chow as my son, there's very strong bont between us. I can say I'm the lucky one who is choosen by him. Lately my chow spotted a squirrel and wanted to catch it. I was hardly able to restrain him by the lace as he almost pulled me into a bush. He's always ready to catch all the birds in the park and when the bird lands on a tree, he sits down and barks loudly at the bird in order to call it.
