I wonder if you could put some 2" stones in that ditch to keep it from digging in over time?
@bigjohnworks1427Ай бұрын
prob could but most driveways the customers are bad to not give u the budget u need for materials lol

I wanna do this part time in my retirement. Up here in the rocky mountains some of the driveways are terrifying, not sure I'd take all the jobs LOL.

How many tubes of sealant? I used an oscillating saw to remove old sealant. Took it off easily. Thanks for info

I appreciate the video review. Im running a stand flow svl 75-2. Not running a RUT yet but using another brand its extremely similar. I think mine would do alot better with higher flow but it does work. The real thick areas causes the blades to slow so i have to keep backing up. I have cut 10" tho. I have a bush hog style and it works pretty good too on grass and 4in or less as long as the blade speed is up. 2 blade

You did not bend the rear rake on each end by the tires! It came from the factory that way, look and your first video when you unpacked it! Thanks for sharing

I would have rather watched pulling the base & tracks out & removing the ring - that would have been more interesting than watching you cut the ring. But I still appreciate the video.

Sorry about that. One of my first videos i recorded and I somehow lost the best footage lol thanks for watching!

You really have a poorly designed cutter. There are better quality machines that would be more cost effective over time.
@SmithsAngusFarm5 ай бұрын
Elaborate there Danny. What’s poorly made on it and what brush cutter do you have?

What cutter has a better design? And in the same dollar range? 💵
@bearbait2221 Жыл бұрын
Why did you cut the ring? They refurb them. You don't need to cut the ring to get balls out there is a plug for that. I would like to have a few buckets of those large bearings just to make a cannon that would shoot them ;0

lol yeah we cut it just to see what it looked like inside. not the best thing to do lol just got curious and grabbed the grinder.

Skilled guys have been crowning roads and cutting grades for the last 40 years in skid steers with no such attachment. $3100 buys a lot of diesel/DEF and practice time. If you ever have to jump in another machine without these training wheels you're gonna struggle.

@bigjohnworks1427 Жыл бұрын
well prob if you use it alot on like solid rock but in this case as you said its that softer slate stuff so it would hold up well using on stuff like this. But riping rock will be hard on it and the machine lol

Excellent Video, the sealing explanation made me pay attention to about an 1/8 foam piece on the inside edge of my broken windshield. I wondeered why it was there. Your video talked about the gap to the seal so I added a 3/16 foam weatherstrip with a slight overhang like the OEM. The glue then seated with the glass weight ended up with 1/8 gap to the frame so it fits like the OEM and seals well. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.
