This is the best review on a rut manufacturing brush hog that I've seen. Excellent job.

I just ordered a mulcher from Rut Mfg. The same company that made your brush cutter. Hopefully I can show a video in 3 or 4 weeks about the mulcher which is the next step up. I just subscribed to your channel. Good videos keep up the good work and your channel will continue to grow.

I appreciate the video review. Im running a stand flow svl 75-2. Not running a RUT yet but using another brand its extremely similar. I think mine would do alot better with higher flow but it does work. The real thick areas causes the blades to slow so i have to keep backing up. I have cut 10" tho. I have a bush hog style and it works pretty good too on grass and 4in or less as long as the blade speed is up. 2 blade

Great video! Thanks for the info. I have a 2014 New Holland L220. Do you think the 72 is too heavy for the machine? 1800lbs. Rut MFG said it should be fine but I wanted someone’s opinion that has one.

my svl75 was just shy of a 10k pound machine and it handled it well. but like when you got on uneven terrain and rough places you could tell it was a little light in the tail for that big of a cutter. a small weight addition in the rear would have helped a bunch. i own a svl97 now and it handles it awesome. thats like a 12k pound machine

Wow no harm ment but leave the selling up to Rut . I stoped by to see the machine and cutter in action not a seminar . Never did get to see the thing work.

That thing is more of just a bush hog on a skid steer
@bigjohnworks1427 Жыл бұрын
its kind of in the middle . it has a little thicker blades and heavier stump jumper than a basic bush hog. its good for 4 or 5 inch trees. but they make a few that are way heavier built lol

Dude, if you want a stage i understand. 8 min of BS did not see a machine in action. Get a dog then talk to it, they are best listeners

You really have a poorly designed cutter. There are better quality machines that would be more cost effective over time.

Elaborate there Danny. What’s poorly made on it and what brush cutter do you have?

What cutter has a better design? And in the same dollar range? 💵
