Nika and her husband are literally just the blasian version of Kweenofkings’ Rose and Brett. They are another interracial couple who are equally cringy. Everything on KoK’s channel is about race, their mixed kids, and proving how “functional” they are as family, all with a camera in their kids’ faces SMH. Like why can’t you teach these valuable lessons OFFLINE? No money there, I guess.

I honestly thought I was bitter for feeling uncomfortable about their boundary videos and videos where she teaches her children affirmations. But i realise now it was less about the actual concept of teaching your child how to love themselves and say good things about themselves and more of how much like a script it sounded. It never once seemed genuine to me. Also, the whole, "I put mommy before you" thing is so backhanded. Like wouldn't you grow up resenting your mother if this message is repeated so blatantly throughout your chuldhood?

She does have that look in her eyes. That clout hungry and desperate "anything goes" look. Calling it now, there'll be a huge controversy in their future. Family channels that exploit their kids so blatantly and creepily always fall hard eventually. Hopefully sooner than later for the kids sake.

She’s made what, three or four videos of her husband saying that he cares more about his wife then his own daughter, IN FRONT OF HER OWN DAUGHTER! I KNEW she was fishy, it’s so ironic how she’s all “I’m a victim and I’m protecting my kids” when I’m all “honey, if you’re idea of protecting your kids is exploiting them then you need to find a better way of protecting them”

Her vids have really helped me for the better just bc her content is for a mature audience(Which I am 100% sure that neither u nor Taliah are capable of ). She has helped many other people, so if you dont have anything good to comment, then dont spread hate. And any being with sense would know that Taliah is being rude, wuth snarky comments such as an eye roll or calling cringe, and to be honest, her content is not that great either. I can call HER content many things, but I am mature enough to have compassion.

My dad's mom, when she had dementia was so fragile and vulnerable. When her oldest son died (my dad was the youngest), they did not tell her. My dad is now in the beginning stages of it. His other brother died this year and we didn't tell him (his sister's family didnt tell her either as she also is not doing well mentally). You can keep this stuff from them .... for their mental well being. Side note: hours before my grandma passed, we were at her side and she was speaking to her oldest son (the one who died) who apparently was sitting in the chair in the corner and asking why he had not visited her in so long .... she was carrying on a full blown conversation with him and it was the most normal conversation she had had in YEARS .. and she even was asking him where he was taking her. A couple hours later, she was gone. My paternal grandmother was my world and i was only in jr high when she passed. Even now, typing this, i have tears streaming down my face, i miss her so much. I hope she is the one who is sent to collect me in my final hours. ❤

Honestly, i FEEL annoyed (maybe not annoyed as much as i feel anxious) when my 8 yr old gets a new lego set and does not keep it separate from his other legos before we get it built .... but i keep it to myself (except for now lol but i am anonymous here) bc i consider it a flaw of mine stemming from my own childhood trauma and having nothing to do with him. I am just throwing that out here bc yes, there are ppl who feel annoyed over the stupidest things. I chose to get therapy to help myself heal .... Disclaimer: i have no idea why she felt annoyed, but just sharing my experience. Some women are not like that bc of trauma but bc they are spoiled and controlling. Either way, it is a sign that one needs to be in counselling.

And whenever people call her out in her comments she always has the same narrative ready to tell: "we chose to share our best and worst moments blablabla, it doesnt always have to be good blablabla" She's litterally so weird and i worry about her daughters when they grow up. She's always talking about boundary this and boundary that but are YOU respecting your child's boudary by exposing her to all sorts of weird stuff just so you can get a content for social media? She's always alking about her children's race and skin color, if there's anyone who is going to make these kids feel insecure than it's definitely her and no one else. She teaches her daughter to hyper focus on her looks at a very young age and thats unhealthy if you ask me. The girl is going to grow up thinking that all there is to her is her skin color and her hair texture because thats all her mama was talking about when she was a child.

I used to work in a care facility for people with dementia and other diseases that affect memory. One of the FIRST things you learn is to not infantilize the patients, and to adapt to what they call different things. If Res can't properly dress herself you don't say "you did a great job but your tushie is hanging out we gotta fix that" because that's the manner you'd talk to a child in. You can, of course, say "Hey I don't want to be mean but it looks like you had trouble getting dressed. Is it okay if I help you?" or otherwise word it to sound like a concerned person, not a parent giving their child the opportunity to learn how to get dressed. Dementia isn't linear; they don't go from feeling 60 to feeling 30 to feeling 6, they can feel like they're all three at the same time and also only be aware of a moment in their life. They WILL know when you're talking down to them. They're not elderly babies, they're elders who are dealing with a very serious disease It is also important to remember that irritability is a symptom of dementia. Patients aren't acting out because they want to, they're acting out because that's what the disease is doing to them. It's really frustrating watching these videos and seeing the people caring for these people assuming that the irritability is because of who they are as a person and not because of the disease that is ravaging their brain.

The poor kids are being exposed to inappropriate things that should not be exposed…let them be wholesome and kids. Stop recording the discipline, it’s not fair they record the kids in vulnerable moments. What’s gonna happen when they go to school when they are older? “Oh yeah I saw ur mom’s old videos!” And some people might make fun of those vulnerable moments… also they just show their children’s faces, I don’t feel safe with revealing your young children’s faces…let them be old enough to decide if they are comfortable with it, there are weird people out there, and also they are always ranting about race the same line “black don’t crack and Asian don’t raisin 🤪” we get it, your kids are bi racial and you are trying to teach them to put on sunscreen… it’s just weird in general anyways I’m gonna stop ranting cause I have bad grammar lol

It’s sad. I know somebody with dementia that I have cared for before and my family is still caring for him and when I get back to visit, I will help care for him. Yes they get mad. They get upset for nothing but there’s no use to video it. Especially when they’re not even giving no tips on how to deal. 🤦‍♀️

Thank you for bringing awareness to this problem. Caregiving requires patience and conscience. Never, ever would I speak to anyone like this, especially someone with dementia. Making her apologize - it makes me so mad. These caregivers are NOT funny. How dare they. I’ve taken portraits of my residents to have when I’ve moved. No one sees them but me; they were my friends, not entertainment. Now it’s my turn to have a Grammy who needs that patience and respect. I am so grateful no one treats her like these people treat their folks. And don’t remind them people are dead!!! Thanks for letting me vent/rant. ✌🏼

The people who film their parents or grandparents in these moments may just get dementia themselves one day. And I’m sure they wouldn’t want to be treated like this. 😅 It's just such unhinged behaviour. I know some of these people may use social media as an outlet to get resentment out, or exhaustion, or they just want someone to tell them they’re doing good. Or they just need money, but there has to be a better way than posting these poor people online.

Thank you for blurring their faces and respecting the fact that they can’t consent. If they where really spreading awareness, they would not show their faces and explain how to properly deal when these type of situations arise. I’m autistic and taking sleeping medication is genuinely awful for me. The sensation it gives me is incredibly overwhelming, it makes me feel very sick. I frequently have meltdowns when I take Benadryl, melatonin, etc. and I usually don’t fall asleep because it feels so overstimulating that I can’t sleep even if I try not to fight it. I can’t say this is what the kid in the video is going through, but I frequently have meltdowns after taking sleeping medications. Also, meltdowns aren’t tantrums. My neurologist (who is also autistic btw) says it’s essentially a seizure, it’s not emotional. Tantrums are when a kid is intentionally acting out to get something, tantrums have a “goal”. Autism meltdowns don’t have a goal, autism meltdowns can’t be quelled by giving into their demands because autistic meltdowns don’t involve demands.
