I’m autistic and taking sleeping medication is genuinely awful for me. The sensation it gives me is incredibly overwhelming, it makes me feel very sick. I frequently have meltdowns when I take Benadryl, melatonin, etc. and I usually don’t fall asleep because it feels so overstimulating that I can’t sleep even if I try not to fight it. I can’t say this is what the kid in the video is going through, but I frequently have meltdowns after taking sleeping medications. Also, meltdowns aren’t tantrums. My neurologist (who is also autistic btw) says it’s essentially a seizure, it’s not emotional. Tantrums are when a kid is intentionally acting out to get something, tantrums have a “goal”. Autism meltdowns don’t have a goal, autism meltdowns can’t be quelled by giving into their demands because autistic meltdowns don’t involve demands.

Toddlers and younger children don't "intentionally act out." They lack impulse control and the ability to regulate. Little kids are not having tantrums to manipulate you lol

Just found your channel, loving the content so far. The exploitation of children, elders and disabled people online has become absolutely horrific to witness. If we don't talk about how messed up it is it will never stop. Thank you for talking about something that really sucks to discuss

To me, good rules of thumb for sharing content of yourself and others are; Would you want your current boss to see footage of you doing the same activity/story? Would you happily do X with a dozen strange man you have never met stood watching you from the corner?

mama calicium is explotating her son and i rember one of her post with her kid in it had something about clicking a link for UNFILTERD content which idk what she means but if it what i think shes disgusting i reported her acc but i didnt do anything

Good news is the original account I took her videos from has disappeared. However she keeps making new accounts :( report, report, report! It might take a bit of time but I think it’s at least doing something

4:58 I fucking hate this. He's not going to be able to communicate clearly what’s wrong, if he's in a stressed state. Take him to another room and let him chill for a bit. Give him some comfort items and wait til he's calm. Then check on him and ask what made him upset. How does distressed children equal clout?!?

I’m autistic and have meltdowns. It’s a terrible idea to try to “communicate” with someone who is having an autistic meltdown. It’s literally professional advice to say as little as possible to someone who is melting down. They will NOT be able to communicate, inward or outward, effectively and it will only make the meltdown worse. If your child or anyone you know is having a meltdown you should stay as calm as possible, and part of that is not asking a bunch of questions or overwhelming them with your voice. Just be quiet, and calm.
