Hello! Just wanted to say I enjoy your channel. I know I am a couple of days late but Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I enjoy your playthroughs of RPGs and you have a very calming voice which is great after a day of work.

hehe, yeah, I don't know if there are any more sections where you have to use frog or mini, but I'm pretty sure that once you're past whatever door/interaction you need it for and start running into new monsters you can take it off. I don't think FF ever has a whole dungeon you need to be transformed for.

I remember playing this and at least one other Hugo game as a kid. If I remember correctly, the other game has a part where you must make an effigy of a witch doctor, and it took me an extremely long time to figure out the right command to make it work!

If you're wondering, the Power Meal acts as a random single-target healing item.

I recommend using Magus for the boss at the end of the Black Omen. It's pretty cool.

The Gold Rock unlocks a triple tech between Frog, Robo, and Marle. Also, when it says that the GreenDream is "one-time" auto-reanimate, it means one time per battle, not per game.

A tip for a future encounter: Sometimes, when something seems like a "but thou must!" decision, you might still want to try answering no.

I noticed that you haven't used Crono's Luminaire technique yet. I recommend doing so at least once - it's pretty cool.

Since you have Ayla in your party, you might be interested to know that most of the monsters on the Mountain of Woe have good equipment that can be Charmed off them. Also, congratulations on defeating three Rubbles without any of them running away!

I think this is a good point of letting you know, I didn't want to backseat earlier: The rats that steal your tonics - if you stand still when they touch you, they ignore you. So you'll have to time when you move and when you stand still, that's the trick for those :D

Big yay for Illusing of Gaia :) It's a relatively short playthrough and has a really big place in my heart. Surprisingly emotional to me :)

Little tip regarding the sealed chests: if you choose not to open them in 600 AD, then you can get better items from the same chests in 1000 AD.

Ok, you've been grinding off screen, haven't you? The first Golem fight is supposed to be one of those unwinnable fights, LOL.

The trick with Golems, is that you want to mix up your elemental attacks and avoid physical attacks. Also, Robo's Laser Spin is Shadow-elemental, for future reference.
