The reason why the ship selection is so limited is due to Eaglemoss (the original creators) shutting down mid-way through the lineup, and the remaining stock being passed over to Master Replicas. If Eaglemoss had stayed alive, there's a good chance we'd have eventually gotten some of the larger ships like the Donnager and Truman-classes.

If you’re a completionist, they also have a 5 for 3 deal on the Expanse ships. Which would’ve been great, if they’d had anything other than UN One 😅 Still, I got the Roci and Razorback. Thanks for letting us know!

Thanks for the head-up on this deal, I didn't know about it. I have been tempted by these in the past but I spent a chunk of change on the giant Kickstarter Rocinante a few years ago and the scales would be completely different. Choices choices.

I bought this model of UN One from Eaglemoss about a month before they closed. I never received it and was never refunded. So i hesitate to take it.

Well that’s the most I’v been ever excited for a book to launch. When I think about it it’s probably the first time I’ll be waiting for a book to drop since most of the books I read are from the 60s through 90s🤣.

Great news! A question regarding the rights to The Expanse TV show, doesn't Amazon loos the rights if they don't produce something till this summer?

A little sad it’s not hard sci-fi, but the audiobook will be narrated by Jefferson Mays, and any book that’s a combination of James S.A. Corey and Jefferson Mays I am obligated to buy and listen to.

I might check it out on audiobook sometime, but, the so called 'High sci-fi" is definitely not something that I tend to go for. Unless it can at least start somewhere relatable and we grow into those high concepts over time, I tend to not get into it much. Same reason I don't like Fantasy much in general. Like I listened to Ninefox Gambit the other day as people said it was hard sci-fi but it felt more like a high-concept Starship Troopers to me (in addition to other things.) I'm glad that James S.A. Corey will keep going though, and looking forward to that name being active for many years to come.

This seems to be an end of Expanse series 😔

It’s not so much the money/ it’s the time to bid and monitor progress. That being said I would love a coffee bulb. I have a strange feeling that the company in Germany that used to make them will reproduce them and we all could get them cheaper and do our own stencils (As opposed to getting a cup handled by Steven Strait)

I spent an insane amount of money in the previous auction, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to afford to get anything in this one lol. I was lucky enough to win Marco's vac suit in the previous auction, and it's a show-stopper whenever anyone comes to my house now. I was extremely impressed with the level detail in the props. Everyone in the props department deserves a lot of praise. It's unfortunate that everything in this auction will inevitably be extremely expensive again. I just hope the items go to actual fans of the series. It's disappointing to see some of the items being re-sold on eBay for ridiculously marked up prices.

I haven’t won the lottery, so I won’t be participating. Everything I bid on in the first one went for ridiculous money. I wanted those beads, but not for the $2k they went for. And I guess I’ll need to find something else to keep the rain off my head.

The lesson from the first auction is, the everything will go for way more than most people can afford.

Every bit of it will go for more than I can afford but congrats to everyone that gets something. I would really like Miller's hat.

It’s not a tin can it’s multi hulled with space to walk between the walls. your model didn’t account for that space, where the airlock and pdc’s wouldn’t poke through the ships interior
