There is indeed some excellent modelling involved in this 'layout' MVR. The incredible thing about the design is that, because of the standardisation between modules, anyone can produce one and they can be put together in any order, with a mixture of straight and curved modules. The convention for 2023 was held in Brisbane. Thank you for another great comment.

Absolutely MVR. Its incredible just how much detail, and how many little cameo scenes, they have packed into such a small area though isn't it?

@@monsvillerailways5736 Thank you for another great comment MR, and I’m glad you enjoyed the video. This was actually filmed back in 2019, hence the rather poor quality of the footage! My friend has made a lot of progress on the layout since then., although there is still much to do. This is the first of several videos I have made over the past five years - I’ll be transferring the rest of them from my other channel (Kartwheelkarl Trains, Railways, Railroads & Travel) over the next few weeks. By then, I will have hopefully finished the latest update which I only filmed a few days ago.

Welligford is without doubt one of my all time favourite layouts, and I consider myself very fortunate to have not only been able to film it but to have also operated it at several exhibitions. Thank you also for your thoughts on the new channel's URL. The original URL came about when I first set it up. I used Tube Buddy's Key Word Explored to try out names and, despite my own reservations, that scored highest!! However, further to your comments, I've now made a change, and I think I'm much happier with @MODELRAILWAYS123. Moreover, this brings it into alignment with my other new channel, @TRAVELAUSTRALIA123

It's fascinating to look at pictures of the real Watery Bottom and the line through Lyncombe Vale, and imagine "What if?" I consider myself very lucky to have seen this layout and to have had the opportunity to film it. I only hope my video does it justice.

Thank you for the fabulous comment John. This layout was indeed wonderful, both to watch and operate. Along with the incredibly talented gentleman who constructed it, it is very sadly missed. I do so wish that I had been able to capture better footage of it though. The camera I had back then had very poor video capabilities, so my finished film does not do the layout full justice.
