I had a reel like that before i went into fly fishing and believe it or not i would rather fish with one of those reels than with a spinning reel. Spinning reels are too troublesome with line twists, tangles, and wind knots. The absolute best way to fish saltwater is free lining. The best reel for free lining is the one featured in this video clip. No need for casting. Just let the line dangle like in fly fishing and flick the bait out there and youre set to go

be careful. Those things eat entire boats and steal sharks or goliath groupers when ya hook em. Be careful holding one especially considering they can swallow you whole

Not everybody be clear senior citizens do not need license to fish in Florida be more clear in your expression of license for Florida this way people will understand that seniors have rights to fish without license thank you!
@FishingFloridaWater2 ай бұрын
@marcoortega8458 Correct. Florida residents over 65 with proof of age and residency do not need a license. However, non-resident seniors over 65 need a regular non-resident fishing license to fish in Florida. You're welcome!

Subscribed and liking take us to more fishing places i do all my fishing in SW Florida on Charlotte harbor im always up to learning some other places to go im thinking even the canals along alligator alley do you buy your fishing bait and equipment at Fishin Franks in Port Charlotte? I currently live in Massachusetts but am moving to PG permanently soon
@FishingFloridaWater4 ай бұрын
I normally buy my bait at the bait station in Fort Myers before I do any saltwater fishing anywhere. If I'm going north to places like Venice or Tampa, I'll buy from a local bait shop before I go up that way. Otherwise, I'll just try catching bait. I've been to Fishin Franks a few times and like twice before their old bait shop burned down. I mainly fish a lot in Fort Myers, but I'm likely going to start doing some freshwater videos.

The title sounds bizarre but "Ding Darling" is a very unusual place. Wading with a cast net might be OK on the bay side, but the "Refuge" side has Alligators. No wading allowed!

you guys seem cool. what is the 11;11 in the dec? Also what is the best fish to eat from FL saltwater?
@FishingFloridaWater5 ай бұрын
Great questions Ryan, while the 1111 to some has a meaning that I'm very much aware of the reason it shows up has some thing to do with KZbin seeing the pound symbol for our PO BOX. As to your question about the best saltwater fish to eat that is a tough question to answer because so many saltwater fish have amazing flavors personally my favorite fish is the Mangrove Snapper they have some times a nice flavor of crab and also sheepshead are nice. I'm still looking forward to doing a catch and cook for Snook still but I've struck out on the times to keep snook due to work and personal life.

I was told back in December there's no cast netting on the left side at all, and if you were on the right side, you had to be in the water. The guy at the guard shack told me that. I've actually seen people get ran out of the grass on the left side by staff several times. They told everyone there no fishing or standing in the grass on the left side. Told us we could fish off the culvert just not in the grass. I rarely fish on the left because some of the photographers know no personal space. Had one lady set up and start leaning on my wife during the winter.

@FishingFloridaWater10 ай бұрын
You needed a KZbin a video to tell you what a Bailess reel was. Now that is a short attention span that you need a 10 second video clip to tell you what it is. That's hilarious.
@FishingFloridaWater10 ай бұрын
I'd recommend using your mobile phone next time and asking whatever phone bot you've to tell you what some thing is like "Hey Siri What's Zero Divided by Zero" you wouldn't need to waste 9 minutes. Surely you with all the evergladeelectronics you should have one working device that can do that for you.

Which type of hooks good to catch sea bream
@FishingFloridaWater Жыл бұрын
Depends on the size I want to catch and the size bait I'm using. If you use a big J hook and they've small mouths, then having get hooked isn't going to be easy. If they hook, it is too small, and the fish is big, and the fish swallows the hook, and then it might be harder to get the hook out.

You need to set your nock point. And a safety slide on that setup ASAP.
@FishingFloridaWater Жыл бұрын
Already have arrows with safety slides on them as far as the nock point. I currently don't see a point in doing that. Maybe when I talk with local archers about it and hear what they've to say, I'll take it into consideration. I know the safety is somewhat important, but that nock point is the main reason for the one guy going blind in his one eye. I believe had his line not gotten stuck in between the nock point, the chances of that nock coming back at his eye wouldn't have happened even with the extra line both played that rule happening to him.

@@evergladeelectronics Well we can't please everyone we focus on trying to educate anglers who really want to get as much information to fully understand things even with the rants however we will try to do our best for people with shorten attention spans. The problem comes in when people aren't given enough information and just told some thing then people might end up with a lot of unanswered questions.

Na bro Van Staal is a meme reel. Only the Googans think it's a good reel. Almost every Spinning Reel can be converted into a Bailess reel.

My new idea put leader line or steel leader with circle hook in stores just tie to line with bait
@FishingFloridaWater Жыл бұрын
The problem with using a steel leader is most of them won't touch the bait not saying all of the Snook and Tarpon won't but they can see that steel leader in the water. I've heard many people say to stay away from Jewelry. Which means avoid using stuff that doesn't look natural.

So size do I need for general fishing? Size 2 ?
@FishingFloridaWater2 жыл бұрын
Size depends on the bait your using as well most of the time I use a #2 Circle Hook for most of my fish I fish for. Bigger fish with bigger baits I use a 4/0 up to a 7/0 for Sharks I use from a 4/0 to a 10/0. If I'm saltwater fishing with Live Shrimp I'll use a #2 circle hook or a 1/0 circle hook depends on how big the shrimp are. Or I'll use a 3/8 oz jig head with my Live Shrimp. But depends on how fast the water is moving.
@Snookwisperer2 жыл бұрын
You have to twist the body of the NLBN around the hook. Don't just shove it passed the screw lock. That's what locks it in place.
@FishingFloridaWater2 жыл бұрын
But this wasn't a video titled how to install a NLBN Jig. Not all jig heads use there spring style holder for the soft plastic. :B
