hopefully ‘Uptober’ will see crypto moon so owners can sell by the 29th 🤔 of course you don’t have to sell everything but what you haven’t covered is the slim possibility of ‘unrealised’ tax ie will they try and tax us before we sell 😮

Bitcoin is on its way to breaking records, getting closer to hitting new high prices, showing that it's gaining more value and could go even higher than we've seen before. This could mean great things for people looking to invest, suggesting now might be a good time to get involved before it jumps even higher. It's an exciting moment that could change the game in general...managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3Bitcoin to a decent 27Bitcoin....At the heart of this evolution is Seren Wintersun, whose deep understanding of both cryptocurrency and traditional trading has been instrumental. Her holistic approach to investment and commitment to staying abreast of market trends make her an invaluable ally in navigating this new era in cryptocurrency investment.

Any hike in tax affecting Capital Gains in the UK by the Davos Party, should only be applicable to any investments made AFTER the budget announcement, and/or from when such measures are implemented. With no back dating like Brown did with Offshore back in the 90's. I know a handful of employers who will be on the boat the next day otherwise. Good luck Britain, if Starmergeddon includes Brain Drain II.

Meaningless, Crypto is Decentralised Finance. It’s a game of ‘Wak,a’Mole’ (Grey Area) as far as property control and Rothschild TAX. Crypto is International, so what right do countries have to tax their Strawmen who use it! Because that’s where we’re are heading. Just say no thank you to Government meddling. Keep Crypto ownership and the right to bare arms a Constitutional Right. (Decentralised) Because once the Rothschild State protects your crypto assets through legislative insurance, it will expected every citizen to hold their arms in the air and come out and pay tax on their surrendered crypto assets. Everyone knows the exchanges cannot be and should not be held responsible for any crypto losses. It’s a gamble crypto investors take when joining any exchange. Keep Crypto Decentralized!

Crazy that the UK deems anyone making over 50k a year well off. Couple of kids and try to live in an area where you won't get stabbed and that 50k dissappears pretty quickly.

Very nice job covering the basics. I am sharing this not to brag but to show what’s possible. I’m retired and I have 2 separate portfolios. One is a long term growth dividend portfolio of stocks where i sell covered calls strategically and my 2nd portfolio is the Crypto trading strategy where its all about income. This year I am on pace to make $120K in realized options profits and around $730K in crypto profit... What is great is that my long-term portfolio is still up significantly as well. As such, it’s possible to generate excellent income but still have a total return perspective. ...Amidst this, the insights of a knowledgeable guide like that of Aldona Šabanienė's can be crucial. Her expertise in navigating the nuances of trading has been the key for Me understanding and making the most of these emerging financial trends.

this one video has been 589% more helpful than the deluge of daily "muuun any minute" nonsense that everyone else is spouting across X and yt - thankyou. to add - its VERY clear by the scale and scope of all these plans that either they (govs, ppl in charge, higher ups, elites etc... basically non-plebs like me) expect this to happen VERY VERY soon.. as in months at most... 6-18 months ...maybe less. I also believe people holding a certain few digital assets are going to profit beyond their wildest dreams. I'm hoping that i will be able to let banks or FI's take custody of these assets then pay out monthly. I'll happily pay my taxes on that income. I've been doing my math for the past 6 years based on a 40-45% tax payout anyways and i'm happy with the numbers even if the best staking option i got was 4% APR Its the inevitable black swan event kicking off i'm waiting for.. the reprogramming of the masses as they implement a cyber pandemic... but happening as a result of something the govs can hold their hands up and say "hey look... it wasnt us.. it was a finger of god!)... from there ppl will welcome the changes govs implement... a supply shock... no water for 2 days... no electric etc... no internet.. basically a giant purge and shock to ppls reality to help them accept the new firmware. they're warming ppl up now with the diddy distraction... thats just an appetiser... its about to get a lot more gritty and real for many people.

@MarkB444410 сағат бұрын
I’m a higher rate tax payer so I get shafted to begin with, then shafted on CGT for hard work and risk on crypto gains and trading, and if I gift some of that to my family they get taxed too. If that wasn’t bad enough, seeing CGT rise any further before the end of this bull market would give me enough reason so leave and cash it in another country with little to no CGT. This country is fucked enough never mind taking more. I can’t even get an extra bloody wheelie bin paying 6 figure tax. Hope nobody on here voted for this shower of bastards… People never learn with Labour.

What rate would you be taxed if you don’t work and don’t have an income? Still the 10/20%? Etc or are you allowed an allowance of £12500 then pay tax? Or is CGT a standalone and it doesn’t matter if you’re working or not?

@jameskay42811 сағат бұрын
Yes, I believe you need to take the capital gain and income into account unfortunately. So, most crypto investors who make large gains will be paying 20%. I don't think the new bill affects this

If we sell crypto now before the budget to realise the capital gains, does that mean we avoid any higher rate CGT even if it comes in with immediate effect?

If they bring in changes to CGT tax thresholds income tax, when would this start? At start of budget or new tax year April 25?
@leecable185116 сағат бұрын
April 2025 as this tax year threshold has already been set by previous government
@PaulB-q3d14 сағат бұрын
They can make changes anytime, especially if waiting would allow avoidance.
@leecable185112 сағат бұрын
@PaulB-q3d no it's in British law that the tax year must run from April to April and no adjustments can be made during that tax year, any new laws regarding must run from the next tax year at the earliest point so any laws in the autumn budget must be implemented to start in the 25/26 tax window , otherwise it leaves the government open to being sued for giving false financial advice on taxes

We discuss this in the video at 22:34
