Love your necklace … as always on point 😍 there are far worse things than loving fashion / clothes / luxury which is my excuse anyway 😂 I work from home now and have so many clothes that reflect my ‘ old’ life 😞 I agree totally with shopping for your life NOW not a fantasy or version you hope to be. A wish list is absolutely key !
@TheAestheticsOfThings8 күн бұрын
Thank You! There are definitely worse things to spend money on 🙂. Hopefully you can still enjoy some of your previous clothes occasionally if you still love them. Yes to the wish list!

Life will create the experiences necessary for you to grow and evolve. I appreciate this quote. This is difficult because I’m prayerful and yet when things change, I resist instead of seeing the favor, blessing and opportunity in what is happening. Thank you for sharing!

Just discovered your channel- love all of your advice as a 22 year old girl navigating the start of my adult life and career. I would love a ‘things I wish I knew earlier/at 22/when I was younger’ video. Looking forward to more of your content! 🤍
@TheAestheticsOfThingsАй бұрын
22! ♥ Thank you so much and for the video idea. Since you asked, I will share some things I wish I knew when I was 22 now: (Thankfully I did many of them!) 1. Do your best and aim to make a difference in your work and deliverables (Impact). 2. Be a collaborative and a good human (Empathy) 3. 'Show up' mentally and engage because you want to do a good job (Energy). People notice **if you do 1,2,3 and you don't feel like you are valued in your career AND you have learned all you can learn where you are then it's time to move on (Xx)** 4. Be curious about why you are the way you are and understand your strengths and the things you can always work on. If you spot patterns in your life that repeat, that is something to pay attention to. 5. Never stop developing and aways have a 'Growth Mindset' in and outside of your career (this has been my best asset and game changer x). 6. Create a morning ritual before you start work that helps you reset your mind, mental health and energy (30 mins exercise, Podcasts, spend time with anything that inspires you, meditate - even for 5 mins). Write 5 things you are thankful for everyday as this will give you perspective e.g. "I'm thankful that I can breath and walk without help", "I'm, thankful for the food I have to eat", I'm thankful for how kind my boss is"... 7. Invest in friendships where there is mutual value i.e. they nourish you and make you feel good about who you are and vice versa. Your time is the most precious thing so spend it wisely. If you spend time with friends and you feel drained and not lifted then that is a clue to either evolve from that friendship or spend less time with them 8. Find joy in everyday things however small. When I was younger I thought joy was a destination but actually you have to cultivate it everyday otherwise you miss it and are never grateful 9. Know that there are forces always working in your favour, even when you can't see them. You are loved 10. When you achieve something that you find difficult and challenging, be proud of it. Doing challenging things is what builds confidence and belief in yourself. Even if you don't succeed in everything, you still should be proud that you tried and will keep challenging yourself. Many people avoid doing hard things and hold themselves back. You are going to be ok and I'm sending you all the good vibes Xxxx

This is a very inspiring message. I love the examples and the transparency in these talks. So many topics you touched on resonated with me. Going back to my strength-training and connecting with others through service. I can be an introvert at times. 😊
@TheAestheticsOfThingsАй бұрын
Glad it was helpful X. Yes, I came to strength training late but I got there in the end (x3-4 times a week!). Love the acts of service too, have been doing this more regularly. Nothing wrong with being an introvert; like many things in life we have to know when it serves us and when to get out of our comfort zones. ♥ Xx
