The army green jacket can probably still work well, but I imagine it does so when worn with other casual items, speaking humbly as a non-stylist, of course! 😊

Yes, it can work casually or with more tailored trousers. The juxtaposition of casual and smart is my sweets spot!

I think keep the Gillet, it's lovely. I see what you mean about the green jacket so it can go to a new home!😃

Such good tips ! My rule now with clothes is ‘ if it ain’t right , say good night ‘😂 and I agree with you about Zara - the quality is shocking now and the prices have increased. Love Magda butrym- have a dark denim bustier which I love. The green jacket and waistcoat probably need to go - if you’re not sure , it’s a no !

🙂 very good mantra! Yes Zara is now phased out for me for the reasons you mentioned. Magda Butrym - Yes I know the one you are talking about, love it!

I get your angst with the green trench. You usually go for a structured jacket and this one has a very "relaxed" fit in the collar and shoulders and a lightweight interfacing if any. Great video, appreciate your detailed reasons for letting go of the pieces. I am working on curating a proper closet. I say keep the waistcoat and the leather pants, for those special occasions and "rocker" moments! :)

Thank You as always. You totally get it! I may keep the green jacket for 'airport wear' - the jackets that you're not too precious about traveling in. Great that you are on a similar journey, I've realised that it is an on-going one. I think i should keep the waistcoat but I think the leather trousers are going to go 🤓

I think you've graduated from the Gillet/waistcoat.
