It’s season four can’t remember the episode. I do remember Peter turned up at the door and then left. I kinda wished they left a bit of this is. It makes sense t more fun. It’s Anna not Susan though.

It's in private practice I think around 2012, around the time she got pregnant. The guy is Ryan, he was her fiance but later died because of an overdose

on season 5 ep 11 of greys (first time watcher) and Derek just talked about the watch and how his father died for the first time. I remember seeing this scene on tiktok and knew there had to be a correlation! I had no idea Addison got a spin off show, I’m so intrigued

Addison truly was Amelia’s sister. Only a sister (or sibling) would be willing to put that title on the line to give a reality check when who they love is at their lowest point. Addison was willing to risk a place in Amelia’s life so she’d start to get better. Most of the rest of the people here (if they knew the story) wouldn’t have had the guts to stick up to an addict like that. But Addison did and was willing to risk it all. THAT is why we love her.

This entire episode showed every single acting skill in Caterina's arsenal. I heard Amelia's backstop on Grey's from her own mouth, but seeing this, and her finding Ryan dead, it makes me feel for her even more than I did in Grey's. I mean, this woman cannot catch a break, and Caterina plays that so perfectly.

For a while I thought this was Alex Kingston’s birthday gag reel. It’s amazing that after so many years, you buy into these guys being real doctors, but at the end of the day, they’re just really good actors trying to remember extremely complicated medical dialogue. Thanks for posting.

I didn't watch Private Practice. But this Amelia seems more interesting than the one on Grey's. They may be the same character, but it's as if they are different personalities. Yes, drugs have that affect on people. But still, this Amelia is more interesting. Maybe Grey's could do a relapse story line. It'll be different from the last time since Amelia is with Link and has a baby.

Right?? I love Amelia so much I relate to her the most. Because I'm a recovering addict myself. 2 years almost 3 years sober!!! And I don't miss that life style at all! Not one bit. I do miss pain pills every now and then. but I'm in treatment that is medicated assistance program that helps keep the cravings away! Doesn't make me feel high or anything. It's a life saver definitely!! I'm a whole new person because of the program I'm in. And the people that work there they truly do care about your well being. and they want to do everything they can to save lives it's amazing really. Sober date: 03/2021 Ps: I don't remember the day I got sober. Just the month and year. ❤❤
