There's one zoom lens I'm eyeballing, and it's a Nikkor 24-120 f/4. I'm using a Sony a7sii, so the lens is plenty fast for Slog3's base ISO. The coverage of that lens for the size, is perfect for when I just want to take one lens along (although, with how good my prime lenses are, I'll still carry some of them around). Eventually, I'd want to get a 80-200 Minolta 2.8 lens for Sony a-mount. Minolta telephoto lenses are some of the best in terms of rendering colors imo, so having a zoom with that same approach to color will work well for my workflow. For the last lens to satisfy this holy trinity, a Nikkor 200-500mm f/5.6. That reach is incredible, has a fixed aperture, and will cover the 500mm reach that mirror lenses does.

Looks like an amazing lens and especially impressive for Full Frame sensors. It obviously would have been nicer had it been a 24-45mm, just as it would be nice if the previous Sigma had been a 16-35mm. Nevertheless, I think it's important to think of this NOT as an all purpose zoom but rather as an alternative to buying three wide to medium primes. I have the Sigma 18-35mm but I also have a 17-55mm f2.8 when I want to have the most usable range as well as a Tokina 11-20mm f2.8 for when I want to get extra wide. My Sigma is for when I want a larger aperture and compliments my 50mm & 85mm primes in those situations.
