I love how these 2.5s sound. Sometimes I regret getting my GTI over a 2.5 Golf/Rabbit just because of how the 2.5 sounds compared to the EA888. Both are still fantastic cars overall.

Funny you ask! Lol, the guy I’m complaining about wasn’t even the guy I overtook here. It was another guy who was fighting WAY above his skill level, forced me off track prior to this. Bit childish of me but I thought the socks comment was funny so I left it lol

Lol I wish it was mine, I just did the clean for my buddy. Color is frozen Portimau Blue, its a matte finish from factory. He had it PPF and ceramic coated but I still had to use special stuff and new towels for it

Absolutely! I have an Integrated Engineering Stage 1 Tune, custom Cat back exhaust, and AFE CAI. All of them wake the 07k up a ton, still not super fast, but its peppy, and makes a great noise. Plus combine that engine with some sticky Michelins and some coilovers... makes for a super fun daily/backroad ripper

@@FuseMS I too have a used mk 5 with 2.5 ... But in Canada it's hard to get a custom tuning and I don't know to do it myself ...and IE states with custom exhaust it can pump 200 hp

@@cyrilmatthew2995 I would reach out to Integrated engineering, I worked with them closely cuz mine is a 2010 mk5 which is mid mk5 and mk6 so they were nice enough to help a lot to make it happen. Not sure what they can do about Canada but im sure they would be glad to help

Yep 203k on my mk6 Jetta 2.5 keeps on going
