My yukon xl 2500 is 8 lug. The brakes gonna be different for me?

I’ve not worked on any 2500 besides my 2013 Silverado. It will be a similar process. The best thing about GM products is they don’t change a whole lot. You could watch a video on a Silverado 2500 since the Yukon and suburbans are on truck chassis.

Great video! I have a 2005 Sport trac and probably need to do this for mine as well. Have you tackled changing the rubber body bushings that are between the body and frame of the vehicle? Mine are pretty much dust and I just assumed since yours was around the same age, yours were too. I watched a video on changing those and tried but couldn't get the first bolt out. I think it's really effecting the ride and suspension of the vehicle. Thanks again!

@@MrFullcount13 I have done mine. I used prothane ones from Amazon. Look up munnday 86. I used his video on how to replace them. Just heat those bolts up and take an impact wrench to the bolt and they come right out. The locktight from the factory is a pain but the heat works well.

@@Alejandromtz20 Awesome! I’m going to have to try that! Have you by any chance had any issues with your dash cluster? There seems to be a short somewhere in mine. All the gauges stopped working but every now and then I’ll hit a bump and they start back. 😒

@@stevenlittle8317 yes, I got mine with 170k and around 240k miles it started acting up. I just left it as is since I use a mileage tracker for work I just fill up every 300 miles or so. I think I looked up a company called circuit board medics that would rebuild the cluster for a pretty fair price. Just have to ship it to them and they ship it back.

Can't follow when it's off already, how ? I understand with kids and all, maybe don't make KZbin video if can't, I always helped my family to, no money and they thank you then, but later, they just screw you over on something, I can't even watch this, I have to watch another KZbin video to figure out. Thanks for trying!!! Also on 10mm bolts at bottom of bumper, well if hit a curb in parking lots, it catches it and loosen it up, i know because it happened to mine, then ran over bolt causing tire o trip light on dash for TPMS, each side has that plus the door i think in order to change light bulb if needed. It helps keep that door closed, I almost bought the kit to add Fog Lights. I ended watching at 6:30 seconds, gonna show people, then show each piece, i seen another video just almost 7 minutes, he didn't put back together. But I found out how to take bumper off, also another push clip inner well, that's to hold bumper up tight to top piece. Never showed that, I sen many with missing parts/bolts, to me, i looked at many, and out of 9, almost each 1 was missing 1 if those bolts. Most was EX-L which stands for leather. And different center console. Rest is extra. Also you must make sure its from Japan if not, then America built, parts are a bit different on some things. So to all, check if what ever fixing. Just make sure its correct, just like looking at lights before ripping apart, nothing broke, then match up to see if all the same. Best of luck

The "teeth" that the pcv valve threads onto in the valve cover on my explorer have broken off previously. How would I keep it in without those locking teeth?
@Alejandromtz20
@Alejandromtz20 8 ай бұрын
Honestly the right way would be to replace the valve cover since the threads are built into the valve cover. The quick and dirty way to do it would be to put some oil resistant rtv on the new valve near the oring and push it into the hole in the valve cover and let it fully dry. Once it’s dry then put it all back together. This should work for a while at least until it can be fixed properly.

Go to that website and go to towing accessories, then go to gooseneck roll up tonneau cover. After that type in your vehicle info and it should come up. If your talking about the back 2 spark plugs no the passenger side then you have to go in through the wheel well. No other way that I found to do them. Hopefully you figure it out. Just take the wheel off and use a universal joint adapter to get in there.
