Dr Tennant Forest has Elvis's medical records now, and has written a book about it, Elvis was tested in 1973 because he was trying to find out why Elvis kept on getting infections and the tests prove Elvis did not have the A1alpha gene, please stop removing my comment, to me the fact it keeps disappearing seems you do not want people to know the truth

He was not a military colonel, but he was a colonel in multiple states as appointed by the governors. Very common in the south. Elvis was a “colonel” too in multiple states. In fact, I’M a colonel in the state of Kentucky🤣

Elvis was murdered, and although parker did not get his hands dirty he ordered it, Elvis's contract with parker was almost up and he was not going to resign it, parker tried to sell him in April but soon took the offer away, if Elvis left parker it also meant he left the mob and the only way you leave the mob is feet first, they passed down the order to parker who passed it along to, as Vernon said, someone who Elvis trusted, they murdered him, there weren't that many there that day so take your pick, I was once threatened by the mans family so I wont say his name, but to me it is obvious

Good theory. It's true Vernon was more interested in $$ than in the personal happiness of his son. When Gladys had died Elvis was devastated. Hodge told that Elvis cried every night while they were travelling by boat to Germany. In Germany Elvis was approached by Dee Stanley, a married woman with 3 sons who was looking for a wealthy husband, under the pretext she wanted to condole the Presley's with the death of Gladys. Elvis wasn't interested in married women and women, who were older than he was. Dee Stanley started to pursue Vernon, who was 41 and very interested. Elvis was angry and disappointed that his father started an affair with another woman shortly after his mother's death. Vernon didn't care about Elvis' feelings and even decided to follow Dee back to the U.S.A. before Elvis "tour of duty" had ended. Elvis stayed in Germany with his grandmother, Red West, Marty Lacker, Lamar Fike and his army palls, Hodge, Esposito plus Grant. When Elvis met Priscilla he wasn't only mourning Gladys but also mad at his father, which made Elvis vulnerable. Vernon was a very selfish man. Gladys didn't want 20-year Elvis to sign a contract with Parker, whom she didn't trust, but Vernon saw $$ and a possibility to stop working himself. Vernon was lazy according to Lacker.

Destined To Die Young is literally a clickbait book. Anybody who thinks Elvis’ drugs and lifestyle had no contribution to his demise is fooling themselves. Destined To Die Young was hopium to millions of fans who have been waiting for something to exonerate Elvis from his own poor health choices, but it’s not legitimate. Elvis died because Elvis made choices that resulted in his death. It had nothing to do with co-morbidities he and his family have in their blood
@SoutherMusings
@SoutherMusings 5 күн бұрын
@@MattStoneAsElvis So then that would be a no, you have not read it. Sad to see someone fall into the ol' conspiracy theory stories of his death. Did his life style contribute to his death? Of course, especially when you have his type of hereditary genetics. So the fool would fall back to you. Coming from a family line myself with the same type of genetics, a father raised in the south at the same time period, but with 15 siblings. 10 who died of the same type of ailments Elvis was afflicted with by the age of 50. (This is why your title caught my attention.) So Clickbait or not, it's a sad way to gain views. At 67 and a fan since 1962, I have seen enough of the bottom feeding magazines and videos to make me puke. You are in a large group of those who thrive primarily on the negative. You Go.

@judyheagle Hi Judy, There is a book by historian Sally A. Hoedel where she writes about the genetics that existed in his family. I was referring to her grandmother who died very young, even Lisa Marie had two heart attacks, but I don't know if you know that. Gladys had heart failure. Obviously she had problems with her drinking and hepatitis. But that was a separate problem. Greetings!!! 🌷🌷🌷
@judyheagle
@judyheagle 5 күн бұрын
@@rosepresleypresley6196 sally hoedel is a liar, Elvis NEVER had the A1alpha gene, and she knew it if she didn't she is a terrible historian, but why waste a good story with the truth, Elvis was tested for the gene in 1973 and did not have it, Elvis's grandmother was just short of her 90th birthday when she died, so not exactly young, and as I said Gladys heart failed because she got hepatitis because of her drink problem, all the smiths had drink problems because Gladys's father owned his own still, Lisa had a heart attack because her digestive system burst open due to scar tissue that became dislodged and then blocked everything till it burst, I am not sure how much you know, but I run three Elvis groups and have written a book myself and have had many discussions with hoedel were she usually ends up losing her temper and starts swearing at me because she knows she lied

Good Job Matt, love the video. Elvis was the most gifted vocalist, he had many voices, and he had many styles as a singer. He was as natural a singer as you can get. He could sing comfortably in any part of his range, had perfect diction, and intonation. Some people and vocal coaches claim he was a baritone, some say he was a tenor, what was he then ?, he was both. This song is tenor range, the most difficult thing about this song, is singing many pitches on F"s and F sharps, the vocal break for a lyric tenor. For the record he is not singing a C5 here, he briefly sings a high B flat 4, the notes leading up to the Bflat are......... how can it be wrong.......G4 G4 Aflat4 Bflat4 !!!! Now on the Americal the beautiful he is singing a briefly held high C5 !!!!!
