The #1 key thing is to become informed. No matter what you are told, new car dealers trade-ins and auto auctions book their trade ins at "Average Blackbook" or "Average-Whatever Book." When you buy a new car, your net trade allowance is always at "average book" in the dealer's P&L calculations. If its only got 10 miles and has been in a showcase all its life, its still booked at "average (whatever) book. So your negotiations should be based on "book-plus" whatever profit margin you think the dealer will accept. One caveat... if your car is in less-than-average due to excessive miles or damaged body condition, it will be booked at "rough" book. But never at more-than-average book value.

10 years ago you could play around. Nowadays not so much. Dealers even google customers to see who they are (after they take your ID and keep your info for years or decades. My dealer googled me within minutes of me arriving announced to their lot and even found out what my kids are doing and what sport they play.They keep notes and black list customers.

The healthcare system in this country is atrocious! I don't trust doctors anymore at all! Most are just out to make money. The ones who aren't all about money are brainwashed. Very rare to find a doctor who has looked into things closer and went against the recommended treatments that the AMA puts in place. It's like looking for a needle in a haystack. Most of us with chronic pain are suffering right now. These doctors want to push these off label injections and medications instead of just giving patients the tried and true pain medications they need. The fake war on pain meds is a huge issue and now most doctors have either been brainwashed into not prescribing or given incentives for pushing harmful concoctions of medications that do not work and harm the patient. So much for "Do no harm."

Tell you why this wouldn't work anymore other than with overpriced vehicles that dealerships mark up and expect to haggle. 1)Everyone has a phone now, you can easily find out the best priced cars on the market in your area that provide photos, a video walk around and a full car fax + safety inspection. If the vehicle's price wasn't attractive from the start there is no reason for you to even come in the first place. 2) Auto dealership's platform can see what exact model and trim a vehicle is sold for as well as how long those vehicles sat, so they're literally priced to sell. 3)Walking out is only taking the opportunity away from yourself, unless the vehicle is overpriced

No ther not safe I'm 42, now I can't control my urine and my number 2 . I will never ever do that again and when , it left me in more pain in my legs ,I cant hardly walk some days. Don't do it ppl.

I have ehlers danlos and they are not recommended for people with connective tissue disorders. As a result I can't get other help for pain. People for the most part are forced into them and they don't even help most people.

I had 3 shots so far 1 a year and they all work ok ! I will have the 4th one in few days . You need a professional facility and a well known doctor. My case doesn’t have to work directly on the main spinal cord just the side right nerves between L3 and L5. Do a research beforehand. 2nd opinion is better.

The increase in numbers are due to Pain Management physicians insisting on their patients receiving these injections!!! If you don't agree to these shots, they flat out refuse to treat you for pain!! Spinal stimulators are being implanted into pain patients. Doing irreparable damage to nerves as well. No pain management medications are given except gabapenton, lyrica, cymbalta. Most people get sick of these medications. My dog even got sick when they prescribed it for him. The days of managing pain with effective, inexpensive medications are years behind us. The FDA and DEA arrest Drs who risk actually managing pain with the medications that have been used successfully for decades, if not centuries. Good Drs are in prison for treating pain successfully with tried and true medications. These good Drs who are imprisoned are used to make examples of so other Drs would never dare attempt to help their own patients. What a ridiculous health care system america has now! Btw, before you say, "because opiod addiction or overdose" most of the time its people who use the medication off label for recreational purposes who succumb to addiction. People are dying more rapidly now from illegal fentenyl comming across the border than any time in history. THE WAR ON PAIN PATIENTS AND PAIN MANAGEMENT IS FAILING AMERICANS. IT'S TIME FOR COMMON SENSE TO RETURN TO MEDICINE.

I think the other real reason that these have grown in popularity is that the health insurance industry prefers that you undergo the shots.. one or two prior to approving a surgery.. which the patient may really require. I’ve had 8 spine surgeries over a 12 year period, including a variety of fusions.. the last being an 18 level fusion. I’ve had at least 15 epidural injections during the period and prior to the surgeries. Sadly they never provided relief from pain and did not help me avoid the inevitable. Still, I have a fabulous surgeon who does have my best interest in mind in all of this. The surgeries are risky, but as we know, so are the injections. Thanks for the information. Frank

I just had an epidural 1 week ago for a bulging disk and pinched nerve in my back and leg that occurred 3 weeks ago. I tried to gut it out, but got tired of taking anti-inflammatories that really did not work that well. I was in extreme pain and averaged about 2 hours of sleep a night. So far it has eliminated about 85 to 90 percent of the pain and allowed me to get a good night's sleep. I was referred to them by Hoag hospital spine center in Orange County California. They have a good reputation for quality healthcare. I am hoping I can do the physical therapy along with gentle walking daily and hopefully by the time the shot wears off the injury will be healed at least enough to avoid another shot. If this does not work, I will be seriously considering surgery. Please pray for me and I will say a prayer for you as well.

That's not how they gave them to me. I was wide awake and actually saw the doctor raise the syringe (with a needle the size of a #2 pencil lead) over her shoulder and then stab me HARD to get behind my sacral bone and into my sciatic nerve (S2). She then stabbed me very quickly 5 more times with me screaming at the top of my lungs. Very traumatic. Later, in much worse condition, I had SEVEN Tarlov cysts repaired in my sacral spine.

My PMD insisted steroid injections to my lumbar (I had so many to count) also to my knee. I am almost worthless from my waist down. I have chronic intractable pain and am worse. I have ZERO reflex from waist down and I had to have total knee replacement on my knee he injected. I am in so much worse and now he is kicking me to the curb after 12 years because I refuse anymore injections. No more pain medication because I refuse and I have unimaginable more pain than when I first entered his office all those years ago. I’m so very tired of suffering

Walked into my Chrysler dealer back in 2020. They had a beautiful 300s fully loaded, 30k miles walking $24k. I said out the door I need it to be $20k. My wife hated that I was haggling, took me two hours and I got it for $21,100. Covid hit, things went crazy and they offered me $7k in equity for me to trade it in.
