Hello, Ben Minnotte, my name is Max Thibeaux, good to talk to you, good morning. Would you please find lots of commercials from September 1983-February 1984? If you do, would you please post them? Thanks! Max

All his very best commercials were probably from between about 1971 and 1974; before anybody owned a VCR. I watched from Orange County CA.

"Even if you have HBO and Cinemax, you won't see 'The Lords of Discipline."" If there wasn't a stronger reason to subscribe to HBO or Cinemax already. And a lot of "Archive After Dark" candidates. I've been repeating the phrase "mokkori" since the Aerobics segment. No one's gonna get that reference.

I think I have that same exact off-air recording of "Flashdance", but I haven't checked for breaks yet. My copy though has this one fuzzy white line on the left side, and to the best of my knowledge, it was recorded off of some North Texas cable system.

Did the theme song go something like, "Let's follow the rainbow...to Rainbow's End" in a sing-songy voice? I've had that line stuck in my head for 40 years and just now got around to trying to figure out where it came from. Of course, it doesn't seem to exist unless I want to buy the $180 VHS set.

I remembered listening to this. Since July 27, 2018, I listened in my iPhone 6S Plus when I was 17 years old in Vista Riva Royale before transferring your house in Sta. Rosa Heights on July 30, 2018.

So she wants to brag about being a dirty old hooker? An unpaid hooker? We are supposed to celebrate a woman who had no respect for another woman? Let me just drop my panties for you and let you climb on and grunt a few times. I have no respect for myself or your wife or any woman. I'm nothing but a w**** and I don't mind walking around sloppy like an Arby's roast beef that has been sitting around for a while.

It's amazing how much progress we've made since then. As someone with autism, it's important to remember that, shockingly, that was the official medical term, and that it was used in our lifetime. That doesn't make it ok, but it's important to remember our past. Thank you Benny boy.
@MrSoopSA11 күн бұрын
That was simply the official medical term back then. Words like “idiot” and “moron” that are part of our modern vernacular were once technical medical terms as well. While it’s used as a slur now and is abhorrent, one must keep in mind that the word usage here was completely in line with the ever-evolving field of medicine at the time. (I know you know all this, but I’m just saying.)

I guess this was early enough in the lifespan of this sort of talk show where they have that one heartwarming human interest story in between their normal "LOOK AT DAH FREAKS!!!!" exploitative, sensationalistic sludge. Fortunately for them, they decided to drop any pretense of morality and decency by the 90's. Oh hi. We haven't met. I hate talk shows and their subsequent dumbing down of society and feel the time would have been better spent on sitcom reruns and have since I was a kid.
