It was bad enough for the "Final" Tour but you could still enjoy it. I've spent good money on front-row tickets for this band my whole life... I'd be pissed if I did today. Whatever legally nonsense they came up with, Tommy Lee was on the money when he said they were going out with some milk left in the titty. This is just sad.

Is Jason Bonham ever going to play his own music or just continue playing Led Zeppelins music? I mean really... We have almost every show on tape. Does anyone really need another cover band?
@zublacus11 ай бұрын
If your dad made that music, wouldn't you want to play it? Ever hear of Dweezel on Zappa? Quit being suck a dick. Just enjoy it.
@HeyShotgun7 ай бұрын
His cover-band is directly linked and endorsed by Jimmy page and Robert plant. Majority of profits are donated to charities but also lots of sales go to the zeppelin brand itself. Unlike the other cover bands who just outright do it for a profit . The guitarist for this band has played for Jimmy page both album version and live versions of all songs in Japan and had impressed Jimmy . So I’d say this band has a well deserved reputation for the quality they always put out . Seeing them live hits way different

Guitar player, take the pick out of your mouth, very unprofessional. Im sorry, Jason is not John, and this isn't even close to Zeppelin. Sounds like any other cover band to me. Jason comes up on stage, mid-song, and not crazy about him changing the drum parts from the original. But who am I.
@zublacus11 ай бұрын
You're right Jason is NOT John...not even close, but can he play his Dad's songs for god's sake?? Now...how da fuq do you think Jimmy Page played it? There's nothing "unprofessional" about it. Almost every guitar player does it, unless they are habitual guitar pick throwers. Eddie Van Halen put the pick in his mouth when he was doing long double taps. Was Eddie "unprofessional" too?? Go watch Song Remains The Same....the first part of Stairway, Jimmy is picking with his fingers and has a guitar pick in his mouth and about 5 seconds in, he sucks the pick into his mouth. OMG how unprofessional. <SMH>.
@BraidenMilan3 ай бұрын
The pick in mouth is how people learned to hold the pick while finger picking for generations, and has been adopted in the rock lifestyle. Ofc he isn't gonna play the exact way his dad played it, bc they ARENT led zeppelin. There playing in memory of their legacy

I have been hearing this song since 1979 this song was sung by Robert Plant, can't get it enough, it's marvellous, forever to listen but it's never enough, can't count it how many times hear it, but I every week and month pass by still listening, it's a master piece that was only created one time by Led Zeppelin.

Jimmy Sakurai also does something Jimmy never did....He plays the final lick of the solo at the 17th and 20th fret. Jimmy was never able or decided it was too risky, so he played it lower due the design of Gibson EDS 1275.
@kimberlyelton960411 ай бұрын
@@zublacus Please Don't EVER try and compare THIS Jimmy to the ORIGINAL Jimmy!! OMG you got to be kidding me!! FOR someone who has seen AND LISTENED to LZ for years; THERE Will NEVER be anyone to compare to doing HIS MUSIC,AS WELL AND MAGNIFICENT AS JP.. SORRY!
@zublacus11 ай бұрын
@@kimberlyelton9604 Ok...relax. As a guitar player...just giving you facts. This version is 2 beats per minute faster than the original, so it's not "Slower". And Page is Page...I saw him live....but the fact is...he never played that lick live. It takes a lot of risk for Jimmy Sakurai to attempt it, given the design of the guitar. Go watch SRTS, and you'll see he doesn't play it.

@@angelacurrie9702 Yeah...he was actually being treated for cancer during this tour. BTW..Chuck Wright was the bass player. He played on some tracks on Metal Health. He was actually before Rudy Sarzo. They are in fact on tour in 2023 with 0 original members, so you're not wrong there! I'm afraid that's not uncommon. All the original members of Molly Hatchett are dead, and they still tour.
