My experience of the launch was that it was kind of a disaster. Launch day had a pretty massive line. Like they really didn’t have a ton of stock in terms of bags (rodeo drive location was basically sold out of the bags the day after). Like why have a big campaign, if none of it is going to really make it past preorder. I’m annoyed by their entire website. I was waiting in line and managed to get an order in for a pair of shoes. I picked in store pickup and that should never have been an option since I think my order never made it to the store. I went in the next day and managed to get the shoes, but I shouldn’t have had to do that. Anyways, the resale market is going to eventually get my money for a speedy this year. I did buy the white sneakers. I plan to wear them with my jeans and tshirts to run errands. I have a pair of blue and white Fendi match sneakers I wear all the time already.

This video! I went back and forth and missed it... online is sold out and I can't get to a physical store. So I will just have to love from afar. I use my items so I would have used it. I am in my 50s and missed the original drop because it was not on my radar. I too believe I am too old to sport the hand bags. I took a look at them and don’t really like them for me. It is a pretty collection and I tried hard to find a bag that I like. No such luck so I bought a pencil case because I always wanted a unique LV pencil case and I bought a zippy coin purse to keep my gift cards. They are both black multi coloured. I also bought a white multi coloured bandeau to wear around my neck. I was able to order them through my SA but not until Jan 1. I paid for the items on Jan 2 and she told me not all the items may be available because she had to order them and was not sure what pieces were in stock. We are in Canada. She texted me on Jan 3 to say everything was available. I am waiting for my pieces to arrive. When I had paid for my items and she said they might not be available I was surprised that they would take full payment for items they were not sure they had. I didn’t freak out but decided if they were not available, it was no big deal since I would not live or die if I didn’t get the items. I also figured the items will probably be released on a wider basis in a few weeks as LV would not leave a cash cow out there. That is if we are to believe the hype.

No one really cares. Whatever's on the runways at the high fashion luxury fashion houses right? Are always trickle down to just department stores contemporary designers and then discount stores.. It's been that way for the the length of high fashion..... Those of us that have designer products and handbags don't care...

Is this rage bait 1:35 ? You get my 1st comment on this channel, so if so it worked! To a *lifelong* luxury buyer GenX or older, that's like hearing "I never heard much of Wharton as a school. Turns out they *do* still market themselves as a business school!" Of course Bally is luxury! Regardless of whether or not someone is noticing you as much as they once did, you are still you! Their pricepoints were at one time in line with LV and under Chanel but well above contemporary brands. They were more aspirational to the young, as pre-Karl Chanel was for your Mom. I remember deciding between schools and Chanel ballet flats vs Bally (Bally won on price, comfort and buttery-ness of leather). Afa current visibility, decided I like well-made bags more than luxury shoes, and to argue more than decision sciences (sorry) so these days might say Hermes and Hastings more often, but Bally and Wharton never stopped being names with which to conjure. Thank you for showing high quality contemporary bags. Also thank you for educating in business! Economics, microeconomics especially, should be taught more widely at the undergrad level too.

I clicked so fast when i saw this bag in the thumbnail! Interesting what put Bally into front of mind is one of my brother in laws was buying their shoes and also bumbags! Once again im so happy this bag went to a good home! I still remember the first time i saw that bag and my eyes opened up so wide!

The Bally Brand would really benefit from bringing back these bags, but at a great price point, imo

I don’t understand the allure of a bag that I have to either carry or have on my forearm. To me it’s very inconvenient. I much prefer a bag that allows me to be hands free.

Walmart wirkin is just a response to insane birkin prespend. Nothing matters as it is only Hermes’ making money end of the day. They are not rare .. past 2-3 years alone Hermes’ sold over 600000 quota bags how is that rare ?
