This could also be done for a Mobile Phone, using the casing of an old cassette tape, slotted into the cracks of dashboard etc

great video. would love to know the thought process behind determining the clogged exhaust? you sprayed starter fluid into the intake and it ran briefly, in my limited knowledge i would have thought that indicated a fueling issue, especially since it didnt run on just gas.

Great point, good question! Basically when I was pull starting it just to get an initial diagnosis, I could hear wheezing from the exhaust for a few seconds after the pull. This meant there was some backed up pressure which, after looking through the muffler, I noticed the clog right away. From working on small engines for so long I know it’s not always the path of least resistance, but i start there. Once I unclogged it, I started it and although it was much better, it still showed signs of a fuel delivery problem (carb) It’s not like I was avoiding cleaning the carburetor, but I was just trying to isolate the problem. I have learned to enjoy the process! Thanks for watching

I had this exact one from Sears, in HS, before I got my license. It did 35mph(illegal in my state) on the flats. It flew downhill. Got 150 mph. Great memories.
