Makes you appreciate the cars we have now… such a complex process then. You had to understand how engines worked rather than “turn key… car go vroom”

@@Brandon-ul7sb I’d like to see even 25% of people not burn out a clutch on a standard transmission… won’t happen

This looks so primitive today but back in the twenties, this was considered state of the art and a big step up from horse-drawn wagons. Really makes you appreciate how far the automobile has come.

Not to detract from the fact that it was a great step up, the whole concept of the T was inexpensive simplicity. So it was never "state of the art." Henry never worried about refining the car, he was more concerned with developing new ways to manufacture cars faster. Their were far more refined cars. They were just not available in the numbers produced by ford. I love my 27 Dodge Brothers coupe. Nicer transmission. Be well. 🙂

Beautiful T model. Watching your video took me back to good times riding with my Grandpa in his T roadster. That was back in the 50's & early 60's. Times gone by.

My Papa’s first car was a 1926 model. He told me that between 1929 and 1939 , there were significant advances in the electrical systems of cars. I agree, that watching this KZbin makes me appreciate how much easier it is to start and drive a modern car.

Nice car. Sounds good. I have a 23 touring. As you say you have to get the knack of the choke starting it but once you get it they start right up as long as something isn’t wrong with it. Yours looks very standard which is nice. The only thing non standard on mine is the horn. My wife said you need an oogah horn so I installed one instead of the standard vibrator horn.

Хороший сюжет. Хотелось бы взглянуть также и на самолёт с двигателем от Форда, про который тут была речь. A good plot. I would also like to take a look at the plane with the Ford engine, which was discussed here.

I believe that it costs a fortune to restore this classic car. I had some experience in helping a friend to restore his 1948 Austin. It was a great pleasure especially in finding the original window linings.

This is what they call HEAD TURNER and TIME CAPSULE, it knows its purpose eversince, that is why it is a STEAM ENGINE, it has anticipated COMPLETE MOBILITY, as well as ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLINESS designed for commuters, vehicles enthusiast, collectors, where the BRAND does not know LOSS, only GUARANTEED and WARRANTIES of SUCCESS. Cost of living is very much FORTUNATE and CERTAIN..complete mobility at its BEST...up up and RUNNING, GRANDPA knows QUALITY passed on to GENERATIONS. GREAT always are THE ANSWERS..

When I was in High School my dad had a 1926 T. One day I asked if he still had it and could I drive it. It had been in storage for about 5 years, had to charge the battery, but it started right up. I used to have so much fun in that car. We had the original window sticker, $495 + $2 for electric start and $1 for the tire pump.

One thing i learned watching old silent-era movies was the cops primarily used motorcycles back in the 1920's. Good luck getting away from a motorcycle even in a faster car.
