The option to activate sim mode in these types of games in order to give yourself a break would be welcome. Imagine building up an amazing fortress that can just take care of itself for a few days. Im tired of real world time being used to simulate fun in these games. Shit should rarely take very long to accomplish. No more than a day wait time ever for any reason in any game. These are simulations not real life.

@36:15 that is the excuse every junior dev brings up in serious industries... unfortunately games get the failures.

@21:15 instead of AoE play WoW or DnD, the conan atmosphere is completely ruined by that mod.

If they can pull out what they promise again and actually work as they describe for their bug/hacker-infested relic of a game... awesome, sorcery, surprised me, but the age of war was a massive disaster, so currently my faith in their and their employers' ability is zero.

@50:45 the problems with PvP are that is attracts cheaters, it creates a lot of unnecessary complaining and ultimately PvP and PvE and very different games that don't work together, splitting the very limited human resources funcom has. Long story short, funcom management is a complete disaster... no direction, no plan, no ambition.

I don't think Funcom hates PVP, instead they just don't know what to do with PVP, so they have chosen to completely ignore it. It's hard to add and balance PVP elements and specifically raiding elements into a full loot game like CE, where players invest a lot of their time to grind materials, build their bases and hunt thralls. If you add something stupid like, say, the lightning spell was in the early days of the Age of Sorcery, you are going to lose a lot of players when someone like me comes and uses few cheap pouches to completely wipe your base and thralls you spent weeks to get. So they choose not to touch PVP at all. But that said, they are in fact completely screwing the PVP players with this new crafter thrall system and they probably have no idea that they are doing that . Now you can't hide and save your most important crafters in case your base is raided, so your recovery from being raided is even harder than before, and that leads even more people leaving the game for good. I'm also really concerned about the impact of this change on servers, official servers are already lagfests if there are more than few players online.

I loved the disclaimer "it may not work correctly or as it should™" I was unsure if this is about this new age demo or the whole game by now, idk but this new age has all the potential to be the final nail in the coffin of PVP servers, hacking, massive lag from light in huge bases, and probably the impossibility of using workstations in hidden bases. Hmm, everything they say is sooo hard...people have made mods for lol. Looking forward to this though. TBH Kinda sad what people are making and supplying for free vs what the company can do. And official servers, are unfortunately totally broken! New stuff and old still getting invisible, we still sink and go through foundations, walls and so on!! I truly wish they could fix and polish all of it before bringing all those changes which we already know, they always come along with more bugs and issues, mainly on consoles! Yeap, I saw tons of bugs during their Livestreaming, including those dudes on others!!

Audio balance is way off. They are very quiet, coupled with 2x speed (or whatever it is) makes it incomprehensible.

Unfortunately this game is essentially dead due to the devs who ignore serious issues with it. The server I played on went from about 30 players to virtually nothing due to floor bugs and other nonsense that Funcom doesn't care about since Dune is their baby now. It disgusts me and I along with many others have refused to even try Dune based on the carelessness of this company.

I liked your content it was very helpful but it was really hard to understand alot of what you were saying, some things u couldn't understand even after rewinding. But all in all it was a good video!

You don't craft the aesir armour at frost temple anymore. You do it at any improved+ Blacksmith Bench! (Yes I turned up at the temple, killed the giants, with all the gears and where the fuck are the recipes I can't craft)

Am I the only one who were trying to farm Scythe of Thaug (the only legendary Greataxe in the game) but didnt have any luck finding it for like 15 kills on him in the last months? Only got the hammer. ..Is that some bug stopping it from dropping or am I just really really unlucky? Used to get it in every second kill on Thaug about a year ago.

The Asura armor set is somehow connected with Funcom forum, where some players are chosen to have their nickname in the game (as one of these T4 thralls with this armor set)

Good video. If I may add to the farming for armor (especially cold weather) deter as many barbarians as you can you'll get much more armor, then kill them only after you've looted their stuff. Also, most of it has very little durability left, so carry multiple of each piece and the game auto replaces it when it breaks. Last thing about the armor, if you can carry a bunch home (stack the llama) and uncraft it you get decent resources to craft the same level armor. I also have to laugh, I'm about 500 hours in (some of that AFK leveling) and as you are saying, this dungeon is easy or that boss is easy I'm thinking that think beat my ass. I must be behind the curve. 🤣
