I hate my 930 to no end. I'd throw it in a dumpster if it weren't worth money.

I don't believe the frame and slide is forged. It is not a Ruger. It is CNC machined from solid bar stock.

I think they originally used the “p” designation for porting but then changed it to “c” when they used the P for practice guns

That’s a great pistol man. Wouldn’t have to do much to make it exactly what I would want.

Extractor letting go , not enough tension, colt does not tension them in the factory!

Hi there. I've heard that the slides on these guns are 5000 slides that were from WWII and they built frames around them. Do you know if that is true? Just curious.

I would love to hear what the factory workers at Hartford have to say about this? They’re probably wondering how long they’re gonna have their job.
@steve4910Ай бұрын
I’m sorry, but I don’t share your opinion on this topic. You forget that the name Colt has been around for over 100 years. I’m sure CZ will make some nice guns but when you’re messing with a well-known name of Colt that does not make me feel much better about the change. I know one thing if you original Colt gun owners have one, hold onto them because the values is going to go through the roof as soon as CZ starts marking the Colt guns coming into market.

I had a guy today tell me the higher end Bul Armory is better than Staccato. I don’t know anything about Bul Armory but I do own the Staccato CS, C2 Limited, P Limited and XC and love them all.

I own both and can say they aren’t comparable guns. In fact they take completely different mags (the proprietary mags that are sold out everywhere is a problem for sure). Mine having the flat trigger but no over travel set screw is dumb. They are not the same 😆. Not even close. It’s light and smaller whether you want to admit it or not. Your comp and light make the C2 flatter. The dang Dawson designed recoil assembly is literally the same. I think the short grip on the C2 is dumb. I prefer the full size P/XL/XC grip on the C2. But have XL large hands. Use a tactical development magwell on my 2024 CS. We were hitting USPSA size steel @ 180 yesterday with Supervel ammo pretty consistently. Every 3-4 rds..

So you don’t think the comp & the weight of the light make a difference in recoil? You want to show us a comparison try making the video apples to apples, don’t slant the outcome with your thumb on the scale. I would like to see a straight up comparison no comp no light.
@user-sc2ye2rj6g2 ай бұрын
I don’t mean to be a dickhead, but what is the purpose of doing these drills from so close up? What are you getting out of this? If you have to draw and shoot from that distance in real life, I think draw speed would be the number 1 factor, not the hits, because you can’t miss at this distance. Personally, I am much less confident in myself if I get beyond 15 yards or so. Not trying to be inflammatory or insulting, just asking for your opinion.

Would it be better to buy a new classic 1911 for $900, and spend the saved $300 on upgrades?
@mrflynn510Ай бұрын
No, because the upgraded grip safety, sights, and trigger would probably cost you $500 or more in parts and labor to have installed.

I own the C2, CS, I do not have the C2 comped. In my opinion the CS recoils considerably less than the C2. The trigger is also better in my CS than my C2. I carry appendix, and I never liked to carry the C2 because it was a little too big for that type of carry, the CS is perfect for appendix carry, even though side by side it doesnt seem to be much of a difference, it is very noticable when it is time to carry it concealed.

Bul uses a different grip angle than most 2011 builders, that was the reason for your dot getting lost and the struggles.
