One thing you should try is to record the outputs of your SF 24v on two tracks and have an omnidirectional condenser microphone, pointed at the ceiling, mounted next to it, and recorded on a third track. Then, in mixdown, treat those three microphones as TWO mid-side pairs, for a very lifelike SURROUND recording.

I shall try that! How to make the mix? Do I need to do a MS decoding in some way? When I do organ recordings after I bought the SF 24V I always use the Royer together with two omnis on an extension rail. Royer in the middle and the omnis left-right.

Try this with the recording you did with the SF24v and the pair of omni microphones: Feed the front channels as usual, then feed the REAR pair of speakers with the SF24v with the channels swapped and phase reversed; feed the pair of omni mikes left and right, in phase, to the rear speakers-- the phase inversions with the SF24v will help distinguish whether the sound is in front of or behind the microphone array
