is it possible, in a firmware update ( if there is plans on doing more ), to make the sequencer pads be able to do an On/Off , similar to the Keystep Pro, where you can quickly turn a step On/Off.

@ referring to the steps in the step sequencer. If there could be an ability to simply turn a step on/off by pressing it. Instead of having to press and hold the pad, and uncheck the key that is recorded into it. Similar to the arp , where you can simply mute/unmute a step in the arp.

The colour of the pads in Note Mode is fixed and cannot currently be changed. However, you can create a Custom Mode that offers a playable surface with colours of your choice - components.novationmusic.com/launchpad-pro-mk3/custom-modes/new

What kind of thing did you have in mind? FLkey is purely a controller for FL Studio, so if you're looking to sample from external hardware or instruments, you'll need a suitable audio interface connected to your computer. FLkey doesn't feature any audio inputs or outputs.

Johnny B Good used UAD PolyMax for the bass line here. The Launchkey Mini MK4's Modulation Touch Strip is used to control the plug-in at certain points-perhaps that's what you're referring to?

That's right. You can decide whether the Modulation Touch strip controls the pitch, vibrato or filter cutoff frequency within the plug-in 👍

The software package for MK4 look alot better than the package for the MK3, I just bought a Lunchkey 88 MK3 at my local store and it is a shame that the software package is so much better for the MK4. I do absolutely love my 88 though and it wasn't availiable as an MK4 so I really had no choice :-)

Can I use the launchpad to just play notes? As far as I can tell I can only control parameters for logic or built in instruments.

That’s the Novation 'Components' website. You can use Components to create your own Custom Modes like this one for devices like our Launchpad X, Launchpad Mini [Mk3], and Launchpad Pro [Mk3]. To ensure Components can communicate with your connected Launchpad, you’ll need to access it using a web browser that supports Web MIDI, such as Google Chrome. Why does Novation offer this only to the keyboard customers and not Launchpad and Tracks folks??? 😭😡One would almost think that its not about rewarding your loyal customers or to say thanks but rather about selling/promoting product. Im so naive sometimes...🤪 The dreaded "synth = keyboards" paradigm rears its ugly head once again. Foo!

I forgot a simple suggestion for current Launchpads: it would be great to be able to change the CC slider range. For example 0-63 instead of the default 0-127 🙌❤

@@NovationTV Maybe 12 patterns per track since there is some place in the pattern view, a way to have more that 32 steps, being able to edit a pattern while another one is playing, quickly mute a note, and 8 tracks if possible! 🔥 keep the mutation and chance features they are awesome 👏😍

Think you may be referring to the Novation B-Station plug-in. That hasn't actually been available for some time now. If Novation creates an MK2 sequencer only version (combining Tracks design with Launchpad Pro), it will be one of the greatest pieces of gear ever made to date. Its so close to perfection but not quite there yet. 1. More pads like their lauchpad pro / 2. Double tracks and steps per pattern (option to choose drum or synth midi track for all tracks/ 3. A few more capabilities like control strips and some functions found on the arturia keystep pro like pattern shift/more random-probsbility options... It will be one of ths greatest sequencers ever.

What did you have in mind? How are you hoping to work with Peak in Logic Pro X? You should find that you can connect via USB to access and control Peak from any DAW using MIDI. Peak does not feature audio over USB so to record Peak in Logic Pro X you will need to connect it's audio outputs to a suitable audio interface, such as Scarlett 2i2.
