Hi Novation, Would you consider these ideas for your future products? 1) Launchcontrol MK4 - make it 8 endless knobs and 16 pads just like in your MK4 launchkey line. 2X8 grid is perfect. You can have it in front of you and work with keyboard/mouse while controlling basic stuff in ableton. MK4 layout is fantastic so a small controller (literally taken out of launchkey) would fit both in home studio and be insanely portable with that size. I can't stress enough how good it would be. Ableton control, launching clips, drum rack, macros. There's nothing else like that out there for ableton! 2) Launchcontrol XL MK4 - old version really needs a refresh. It's a fantastic controller and MK4 could easily rival Akai's midimix. Not entirely sure what changes should be applied. Faders should stay. 3X8 encoder layout is great. Fixed-position encoders have their use for live stuff so alternatively maybe you could make endless encoders with light indicators? Something that was done in APC40 MkII by Akai? Imagine endless encoders with rgb lights (various macros) in the form of Launchcontrol XL! 3) Launchpad MK4 - I feel it's coming, so I don't need to convince you :) Hope you find these ideas interesting :) PS. MK4 is a blast!

Rest assured, we believe in our products and are committed to supporting and developing them wherever possible. As Circuit Rhythm features monophonic tracks, polyphony is not possible. However, you can create chords using samples, but this requires multiple tracks.

How does MK4 work with Ableton Move?

There's no specific workflow integration but you should find that you can connect Launchkey MK4 to Move via USB to control and play the internal synths and drum racks. Features such as the Arp, Chord Map, Fixed, and User Chord would also be expected to transmit MIDI successfully. That's not something we've tried yet but it appears that Move doesn’t currently support parameter control via MIDI CC. In theory, if the Move Macros are able to be controlled via MIDI in the future, you could create a Launchkey MK4 Custom Mode that takes control.

There's more than only Ableton. Using my SL61 mk3 for about 3 years now. No novation support for Bitwig. No Novation support for Reaper....but thanks to Jürgen Mosgraber Novation please support some other Daw's too. That would be Great!
