Never liked English dub in anime games or anime so i only played in Japanese. Idk why in anime or games that look like anime, most of the times, HSR is an exception, is kinda bad, maybe a little forced. It's strange because American Cartoons are so well voiced... I think they try too much to voice and look like the Japanese dub so the inflections of the voice and intonation are off in English because they try to make similar to Japanses or other language, but in english sounds weird. Or just the voice directing in anime games or anime are bad, because they dont have the same money production than cartoons or animations made in USA.

The game is made in China tho lol. So the original language is in Mandarin. But if you like the Japanese dub then whatever floats your boat. 🤷♂️

@@Dtzeo503 It doesnt matter, the style of the dub is the same, the voice actors usually are the same people, probably because the Voice Over Director or Dub Director is the same. You can see, the dub from game like RE or FF7 Remake, its different than english dub on "Anime Games" like JRPGS that arent that popular, maybe that's the reason. Because the voice over on Anime or these underground JRPGs that has the same "anime visual", they dont have the same budget or quality.

I think Genshin after 4.0 had improved a little bit to the point its bearable even for some moments on Paimon (from -10/10 to -9/10 still though). Some part on 3.X also stands out from others but the rest is okayish at best. But yeah HSR is the exception, the conversation flows naturally there and most of the dialogue options actually leads to different responses unlike Genshin and Wuwa, so it doesn't feel like forced or linear so it kinda helps as well Speaking from the EN dub only listener in all gacha game (except when it doesn't have one)

On day one I encountered issues with textures, sound during cut scenes and NVIDIA GeForce Experience app didn't find the game even tho I got new drivers installed for Wuthering Waves ( DLSS was working tho ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ). When I logged in today problems with textures disappeared, I will wait for more optimizations, for now they are doing good as for open beta.

I love the combat in wuwa and the fact they are giving this much of compensation is insane, way too generous but questionable at the same time 🤔. It feels almost like they already know their game will have lots of issues and proceed to bring out a tons of compensation trying to cover that from the start. But idk maybe I’m thinking too much. But yeah I’m still having a blast playing the game despite the launch and hope it will get better in the future.

I feel bad for Kuro, I'm still enjoying the game and story it's a bit catchy at least for me. The games it's not 4yrs old... And yes I'm going to say it, genshin story is not the best it improved with time... Liyue story was mid, and mondsdadt story had one or two things good. THAT'S MY OPINION.

While the game is badly optimized on my end even with a decent laptop that has been able to run more recent games and some triple A titles I'm still willing to play cause when the game actual works and runs smoothly its fun, like hell of fun. But above that I trust Kuro, I've been playing PGR on and off and recently been playing more consistently, but the way they monetize and are always aware of what players want has been something i have always appreciated. Heres hoping these quick updates fix the game for most people

What are the odds of them fixing the performance issues? I personally think it unlikely. Such things are so complex unless they bring in unreal vets from outside to merc the job. But kuro devs? Nah they simply dont have the exp.

I hate yangyangs voice actor im not even going to cap lmao but I didn’t have any issues with performance, it runs smooth as butter. I think everything that has gone wrong can easily be fixed, it feels like the norm nowadays. Games release a bit broken but at least this company gives a shit. Unlike quite a few of other game companies 😂

I don’t want crappy 10 pulls or stuff gifted as compensation. I want the game to be fixed and then you can give me the reward. What is a reward good to me when the game lags and has issues, and has high ping and I have a mid to high range pc What they should do is start their road plan to fix these issues cause I can’t wait. New games and old games come and I am not some immortal avatar. Has potential but I’m can't wait.

That's why I never ask game Dev to rush their project, just take time to polish it Also PGR was Unity and Wuwa is UE, so Kuro probably have technical issue to adapt new engine, even took 3 years development

@@SeanBGames Yeah it doesn’t, that doesn’t give you a pass to let out games that has this many issues and have your hopes up. The game hard crashed my pc, which isn’t everyday but somehow this didnt just froze or kick me out, it forced my computer to restart which hasn’t happened before. And all the drivers were up to date, and sent a weird screech through my headset.

I like the game, but I find that I'm not excited to play it. I was hoping the world would be similar to PGR, but it seems more similar to Genshin :( PGR became a really great game over time imo so I am hopeful WuWa will improve just as well.

@@sean2b508 Glad to hear that! Wait is audio having a really small sound? Like there's a bug where the dialog Audio is really low but the battle Audio is loud. I.. kinda wish they still use the same Scenario from Beta. Did the other characters kinda Hostile towards Rover at first? Like that would be cool! Along the way you gain their trust... That would be more awesome ngl.

they still call it "open beta" so im not judging too hard yet. took a day off yesterday familiarizing myself with the game and its definitely one im gonna keep playing! especially coming from pgr and knowing that they actually listen to feedback. already found an overleveled regular mob in the overworld who oneshots you if you cant dodge 😂 probably a little taste for upcoming boss fights

I can run Genshin, StarRail, Snowbreak, every game on mobile I can run it on my phone without real issues but I can’t get past the landscape screen with WW. I’m waiting for Zenless.
