I have a few extras. First, turn off all the beeps and other sounds. Second, turn off the auto image review. Third, turn off the AF-assist light. Fourth, turn off the automatic eye sensor switching from EVF to LCD screen and assign a button that switches the LCD screen on only when you decide you need it. Finally, after using the camera for a bit and getting used to it, turn off as many function buttons/dials as you can - you probably don’t need many of them, accidentally pressing them can change settings that might take time to figure out why it’s changed and how to change it back and trying to remember what they all do is a nightmare.

24/70mm is just meh, it gets the job done. Something way more versatile and useful for myself, 35-150mm f2.8 ... handsdown the whole day!

It's a workhorse. I don't know the 35-150 and sounds like an amazing lens. Probably very heavy? How is the sharpness on it?

If you knew it, you would have it in your bag already, trust me! 😂 Being able to shoot wide and then far when something is happening on the other end of the reception venue, is next level. No 24/70 can do that, the 70/200 comes close but its not as useful because you miss out on the whole wide end. Sharpness, as good as it gets. It is actually f2.0 on 35mm and stops down to f2.8. Heavy ... after shooting sports with telephoto lenses, nothing is heavy 😂

Sony 24-105mm just covers allmost everything, great travel lense. in the past ive also taken with primes but found I didn't use them.

Great lens and a good workhorse. Inhad one for a long time. I lost it due to water. On my long form videos it’s a prop now on the right hand side. See if you spot it. Great lens.
