When the lead clicks the button, will the first Manychat message be sent automatically? Or does the lead need to start the conversation before ManyChat sends the first message?

Yes, you create the first OptIn message. This is the first interaction with the person. I add buttons to allow them to continue.

So, the very first message is only possible if the lead opts in by clicking on 'Get Started' first. "That's it! Now Facebook users will receive your Opt-In Message every time they click on the link. Please note that new contacts have to click 'Get Started' button first in order to receive the Opt-In Message."

Hi Smarty. Maybe you can help me? I have a very simple flow: (1) Person scans QR code. (2) Initial message goes to FB Messenger asking permission to send a link. (They type YES.) Then the next message contains the link. I thought I had it right, but I don't. I have an initial trigger for the QR code => FB Message #1. I have another trigger for the 'YES' but FB Message #2 is coming immediately after message #1, & the person doesn't even have a chance to type 'YES.' Am I missing a connection? Thanks for your help!

Cynthia, Happy to hop on zoom. This should all be in same flow. Person scans QR Code, flow triggers and asked them a question. The question should have 2 buttons ie Yes, please send or No Thanks. If they click Yes continue with the flow. instead of send link, you should have button with link.

Thanks Smarty. I went over your reply, but I'm not quite sure I understand. Do I only need one trigger, not 2? I signed up for the free account to test it out first. I see now that (type YES) "User Input" isn't available to me on the free plan. I see where to add buttons, but what is the action for each? Just the "Open Website" action? It looks like Facebook still has the 24 hour rule, so I can only test it once per day.

Hey Smarty. Very good video - you're a great teacher! I'm brand new to Manychat & it has changed a bit since your video. You mention other videos you have for us to check out when you're talking about a specific strategy, but you don't have a link to them. I spent quite a bit of time scrolling thru your list of videos to try to find the ones you mentioned. Why not add info cards to make it easy for people to find those other videos? Just my 2 cents. No. The Meta Instant forms allow you to point to different destinations, and the ManyChat Flow URL keeps the person on Meta via Messenger, which they love.

In ManyChat, you connect a single phone number via Twilio. So if your SMS is using the same number, it may work. I have not tried this.

Hey Tina. If you use a service like Thanks.IO, each post card has unigue QR code tied to the address. When my sellers scan, I open my automtic home value screen. Pretty awesome. A generic QR code, like on a sign or side of your car LOL, can point to a URL that takes them to a screen to enter their address and contact info

When someone shares a Template link you paste this into the browser to start the installation. Follow the prompts. Once installed, you can see the Template in Automation. You can also see all installed Templates in Settings.

Hi, Not completely sure what your use case is. In ManyChat you can setup up flows with Conditional logic and for each card, you can have 3 buttons.

In Dialogflow, you can creae in any language. In my ProEdge ChatBot, i added Spanish. All intents, small talk, etc need to be added in that langauge.

Facebook property section is absolutely rubbish. The map is useless, it frequently doesn't use keywords or show properties when I keyword search. I've found posting in miscallenous is more effective because at least it picks up the keywords Its also bullshit for posting condos with shared pool etc because if you use the same pool of fitness images it flags the post as a duplicate. Facebook is the clunkiest platform out there, its like its 1997 when using it!

Hi Nina. It is up to you. You can collect the contact info on Calendly. and remove from the ManyChat Flow. I have my ChatBot engage and collect contact info in many places (flows) and pass this into Calendly to populate those fields,
