I bought k2 hypnotist, and been thinking to buy those bindings for park nd rails, but when it comes to sizing im 28cms of mondopoint(43-44EU size), what size would u prefer, i have option of M or L

Thanks for the review. I’m definitely going to upgrade to the Assassin this year! But, I’m undecided on the size between 156 and 159. I’m 5’9”, weigh 195 lbs, and wear a size 9 boot. The size chart says my weight would put be out of the range for the 156, but I’m leaning 156 anyway because I almost never rip faster than 35 mph. Generally, I’m looking for a versatile board that’d be the only board I own in Colorado. Do you recommend a certain size for me or can I go either way?
@kingsnowmag18 сағат бұрын
We'd probably recommend hittin' the 159! Riding big boards is sick. Going with the 156 would make it more jib-friendly, but a couple extra cm's will help with stability and jumping.

Hey, in your experience, i was wondering how this board would be as an all mountain freestyle 1 board quiver. My days on the steel are over so side hits, trees, groomers, butters, some switch and the likes? would love to hear your thoughts. Live in the NE so powder days are like unicorns.

I got a chance to ride it at Brighton UT last season and decided to pick the Assassin as my daily driver. I'm replacing my Nitro Marcus Kleveland 157 for the Assassin 159. The board rips everything!

Craft will kinda keep you locked into the park, while the Assassin will handle whatever you want to get into. We'd recommend the Assassin.

Dope boards and K2 has one of the sickest teams but I can’t respect having production in China. Are the people making those boards payed living wages and working in healthy environments? And if so why not make them in the US? If Mervin can do it, so can K2.
@merauderfps199714 күн бұрын
You realize they are only “assembled” in the USA. Where do you think the parts come from?

This is the world we are living in. The fact they have this facility in the US speaks volumes.
@garrettmcgrew-keller981010 күн бұрын
@playeralv Nah dude, obviously I understand most of the materials are sourced globally. There aren’t really any viable options for US plastic/glass in the industry. My point is that board assembly is a labor intensive process and having it done in China means companies can avoid the costs associated with good wages and factory safety/pollution standards. Capita is another example of a board company choosing to prioritize their workers and environmental impact.
@garrettmcgrew-keller981010 күн бұрын
@kingsnowmag yeah I mean I’m not tryna entirely discredit K2, I just love snowboarding and I feel like each company in the industry has a lot of power to shape the world we live in. Having done factory labor before I have a lot of sympathy for people that have to work those jobs. And as far as environmental impact, our sport is the first on the chopping block in terms of climate change. I’m really hoping we see more urgency for change from the big players in the industry. Loved the king snow movie Jody’s part was hot fire.

Love reviews where there’s actual footage of the board riding 👌 Help with sizing? I'm 5'8 160lbs boots US.9. I ride a Dancehaul in 147 with a 25.5 waist which I love how playful and lightweight it is while still being able to charge, and a Capita Ultrafear in 151 with 25.2 waist. I like playing in park small to medium features, quarter pipes, side hits and small rails and boxes. Love lightweight boards. Like carving a bit fast as well with quick edge to edge changes. Was wondering if the 150 with a 24.8 waist would be too narrow or just fine and the 3mm wouldn’t make much difference. I could go up to 153, but I had a Capita Scott Stevens in 153 and felt too heavy/big for me when playing in small park features. What you think?
@kingsnowmag17 күн бұрын
Check the 153, go to a shop and get your hands on it. It's light and nimble and might give you that added support without feeling too big and sluggish.
