This is a nice Defender PU. Mine bought in 1997 a white Single cab PU with some modifications, ARB bull bar, Safari snorkel and OME suspension. Good enough for adventure in tropical rainforest areas..

The difference being you prob could fix the one you drove to idea on the side of the road ,I have a soft spot for them myself owning a lightweight,2.5 td pick up style and nicer 200tdi then onto a Range Rover a discovery and freelancers all gave me a headache and a empty wallet . The early ones at least you could repair at home the td5 and 2.4 etc all have to many electronics if I could find a nice 300tdi 110 I’d be tempted . I may ever drive it to India who know would be a adventure for sure

The cars that we sell all go through a massive mechanical checklist and any existing issues on used vehicles are sorted, along with any factory recalls that might have been missed by the previous owner and anything that we feel might become a potential issue further down the line. We've got over 20 years experience and some of the best mechanics in the UK working for us, so we're absolutely confident in the cars that we sell. There's plenty of things that can go wrong on abused Land Rovers, but a proper maintanence schedule and using a garage who look after their customers is the key to running one without it costing more than any modern car. :)
