What a genius....I am impressed with the fact he Hired craftsman to complete His ideas whether stone, iron, wood, mosaic, just on and on for years. I hope the buyers caress the value of his Genius, I was firtunate to see Him perform in early Haight Ash days .. Peace to Frank I have watch your life through your design.

Scott is an asshole that nobody wants to work with. How's the doorman gig going, Thunes? Scott just wants to feel superior to everyone. There are hundreds if not thousands of bass players that play better than Thunes. And are NOT assholes. Frank didn't fire Thunes because Frank was dying of cancer and he didn't want to rehearse the band with a new bass player. Everybody in the 1988 band hated Thunes. Thunes was the rehearsal clonemeister because Frank didn't do the rehearsals. Then, after the rehearsals were over, Thunes was just another member of the band and he couldn't handle being "just one of the musicians". He's fucked up and should be in therapy. Hope his kids and wife are doing ok.

Wow. You mean THE Scott Thunes? No shit mf-er. You're a bass player and not the best, just a bass player from LA in Just Another Band From LA. The stuff in the Vault is being preserved. Do you think you are the only one who thought of that. Don't worry Mr Drama Queen, Mr. Snowflake, Mr. Smarty Pants Communist. Saul Good Man. BTW, you play ahead of the beat.

Scott Thunes person is brilliant, straight-to-the-point as Scott Thunes bassist. His clean style, free from useless embellishments, but same time so technically awesome, was a GIFT to Frank Zappa's work. Thank you VERY much.

Fun fact: sometime on the 1984 or 1988 tour (I can't recall), Scott suggested to Frank that he 'return' to using a Gibson Les Paul. Not the SG...but the Les Paul. I just find that kind of funny because at least to most fans the SG was his best guitar.

Maybe if Gail didn't give close to a million dollars of Zappa's hard earned cash to the democratic party after he died they'd have enough money to properly preserve the tapes. Or what about if she hadn't spent it on frivolous lawsuits against fans trying to share and promote Frank's work. What is the cost to preserve something like that? Hire a moving company to move the tapes from laurel canyon to wherever they are going next. Put them in a dry room with salt and fireproof walls, cabinets, etc Padlock and surveillance cameras. Better yet, give them to Dweezil, I'm sure he has a decent sized place from the money he earned carrying on his father's legacy...oh wait, im getting an update here. Apparently he never saw a dime from Gail and Ahmet for anything he did. No wait that isn't true, Gail said, she paid him over $100,000 in a 5 year span. That breaks down to about $20,000 a year. Maybe if Dweezil changed his last name to Clinton she'd have given him more money.
