A very well put together video! Thanks for sharing your experience with us. I also grew up sailing, as my family worked on a yacht for 3 years then we sailed around the world for 5 years. I was young, and that was many years ago, and I can relate to many of the things you say of the positives and negatives. Later in life though I am truly appreciative of it, and realise what amazing heroes my parents were to brave the unknown with their most precious children all for our benefit. You mentioned many things I could comment and agree on, but like other people have said in the comments who had a similar experience, what we learned in nature was worth many a boring hour in a classroom. I found this particularly so for me, as despite having time off in port sometimes, I would be all the more enthusiastic to do my school work at other times, and accelerated though it, eventually finishing Year 12 a full year ahead of schedule and enjoying it.

Hej, hur mor du? You have a very good life and you seem to know it and not take if for granted. Mine couldn't be more different. Somehow I bounced all over and ended up in a place I never imagined living in, Las Vegas. But life here is what you make of it and I never go to the casinoes. It was so hot here this summer, June-Aug we had 100+ every day and hit 120 F...kind of scary. Even now at the end of Sept,. it is still 100 for another another week. Hej do...Tack, tack.

I lived in Sweden many years ago and this brings back memories. Swedes are much more in touch with nature than Americans. Your presentation was very informative and well done. I found the people of Sweden to be very smart, decent, honest and kind. If I wasn't so restless and depressed by the dark winters I would have stayed. Tack ska du har!
