Dear Jeff, Thank you for your videos, summaries and helpful tips. Firstly, a quick question: how can I “expand” the screen in my Sportage 2024? At the beginning I watch in my TBOX the whole screen and now I can’t. And would you please recommend me a nice and non expensive SIM card for the TBOX? I connect it to my IPhone and I have to do it every time I get to the car. Thanks

Ah gotcha, yes you have to turn on the hotspot each time with iphones. Android (samsung) users have the ability to set a routine to automatically turn on the hotspot when it connects to the bluetooth. That's what I do.

It operates as carplay in the EV6. I have my star button in the center setup to load "phone projection" so it opens when I tap that.

It depends on how much you want sound. The MYP has more features, space, is quicker, and costs less. But the scat pack does sound good.

I did the same but put in an ATS (automatic transfer switch) using the line source as primary side and A2L as secondary connected to my refrigerator circuit. When the main power is interrupted the switch automatically goes to secondary, when main comes back on the switch automatically goes to primary. Use this feature when we are gone for extended periods.(we use wife's car for extended trips). Removes concern as refrigerator only equipment that results in loss ( at least for us).

Really good review, especially regarding the rotor clearance from the caliper cover. The CCI GT covers I purchased a couple years back keep rubbing now, probably the wear and tear. Also, the installation off the CCI with the metal zip ties are annoying. I like the screw in install as displayed in the video. Think I’ll pick these up 👌🏾

I have built in Android Auto and Apple Carplay both wireless and wired but I don't like the limitations of the app? So I am wondering will this fix my issues ? Also will everything work together like music and phone calls now work seamless.

Yes this removes the limitations of android auto and carplay. You run the apps on the device itself. Regarding phone calls, they will work using the bluetooth app on the P3. Otherwise, everything should work fine.

Yeah it's a GC4653. It's not high end, but it does decent. I have another video on my channel of raw footage from it at dusk and it does pretty well.

Thinking about purchasing one for my '23 Wind AWD (and your discount code still works and I'm near Prescott, AZ so I can do free pickup) as I'm getting a little skittish about the stories both on youtube and the kiaev6 forum about the OE battery just crashing. Do you think it's worth it for twice the cost of a decent AGM battery and that the bluetooth is valuable? Thanks, in advance, for your reply.

Yes I'm still very happy with it. I got it for my new GT and I definitely trust it more than the factory. They also have added self heating in addition to the bluetooth so it's great all around. I also like that it can be drained to 0% and not be damaged. Comparing it to AGM, it is better and lighter. Both are better than stock. I'd definitely get at least an AGM. If you can afford it, I'd get the Ohmmu. Hope that helps!

You can get a parking cable from them to hardwire it so it records when the car is off. But that would draw from the 12v, so I don't have that. The normal way only records when the car is on.

Hey Jeff, I need some advice. Period. I own a 2022 Kia EV 6. ChargePoint charger hardwired at 60 A and as always delivered at least 11.2 kW during the entire charge without interruptions. There is a new software update for level two charging 311. I believe it is do you think I should even get that throttle or will it just keep my car the same I’m not sure, I have never had Char interruptions at level two charging. I wanted your thoughts on this thanks.

I personally would get it because it's supposed to increase the threshold and make it throttle instead of stop charging. But who knows. If you haven't had issues, maybe yours is good?

I used to think this, but it's not the case. Just lower the seat. I'm 6'2" and in my EV6 GT, I have plenty of headroom when I lower the seat down.
