One thing Im always confused about is if I should face my hands out or in, personally I find out to have practicality for swatting punchs or defending punchs, if you dont have gloves then facing out the back of your hand is kind of useless, atleast in my opinion, what do you think is right

Thanks for the tips, I am in week1, my pain was most intense while getting up from the bed(with pain meds), so moved to sofa and almost avoided lying down, feeling much better , no pain to get up. Yes meds even codine is prescribed to escape the pain.

Interesting. I get it. I joined a Bruce Lee group 35 years ago. JKD also puts the rear heel up, and is on the front toe with 50/50 weight distribution. Sometimes 60/40, with more weight on rear leg. We did use the reverse pendum to retreat. We did learn Muy Thai via Chai Sirusite, Saekson Janjira and others , but I never learned this BUT I’m working it now as an old man. Love it
