On my previous JD 3720 Cab, and my current JD 3046R Cab… I have a selector at the base of my joystick. It can Lock the joystick. It can make it 4 direction only… and it can make it regen-hydraulics. So I always keep the selector on Regen. The bucket is kind of gravity assisted in its dump routine while this function is selected. Do you have a lock switch on the base of yours? It’s an easy thing to not even notice on mine…. But if you do, it may help. So my will do these mixed motions with ease as well.

I have a Kioti CK4010SE just made a warranty issue video yesterday may put it up soon. The 3pt lift Hydraulic valve failed with only 220 Hrs on the tractor and was still within the time limit of the warranty. Kioti did not cover this repair. The proble was the 3 pt lift would surge up and down with any load on it. After the vale was replaced, it worked fine. You can click on the icon to see more details on this
@beautifullogger26148 күн бұрын
The difference could be a couple things, the Kubota could have a more advanced Hydraulic system with a sort of load sense (more expensive, more expensive to maintain) or it could be in the profile of the hydraulic spool of the joystick... An ubrupt edge on the spool profile creates an on/off action where as a notched or angle profile allows for a smooth transition or blending. Im curious if kioti will pickup on this and get it improved for future models.

My advice would be,be very careful at the purchase of an older ASV.The rubber idlers and undercarriage is very prone to wear if not taken care of.There just downright expensive to rebuild and the undercarriage life will not match a cast idler style undercarriage.They ride great,go thru a lot of soft ground,but really need undercarriage care.You may want to look at the GEHL's at home depot,RT 105,even an older bobcat in the smaller machines.Also,the older ASV's dont have the ungraded front and rear idlers,that do most of the work,they were a failure point.Don't buy just on price point,sometimes it pays to just get a bit more money and a more solid purchase.All my experience in life.Thanks for watching.

I’m looking to do mostly front end loader work so may go with Kubota and hydrostatic transmission
@Vermont_EarthWorkАй бұрын
I have two major complaints on the hydraulics on my Kioti DK6020 is the 3 pt hitch lift speed. My Kubota had a slow speed for small adjustments up with the 3 point arms, the Kioti jumps and shakes the whole tractor when trying to make a small lift adjustment. It drive me crazy. The biggest issue though, and Kioti is trying to fix it is the introduction of air and as a result, cavitation. In the pump. The loader jumps as it's lifting heavy loads and when it's gets really hot gets really bad. My tractor had a first of a kind experimental electric fees pump installed on the suction side of the pump and it has made a big improvement but when I work the tractor hard, like brush hogging or a lot of grapple work, it still shudders. It's a known issue and drives me crazy. There are a lot of little things I don't like on the new Kioti too. Cheap designs that just shouldn't be there. For instance the 3 point hitch lowering adjustable hard stop. It's so cheap that even when I use pliers to try and tighten the screw it still will move if you put any force on the handle when lowering the arms. I bought this because the price was less than the comparable Kubota but I'm now wishing I had stayed with what I knew was a good product and paid the extra money. It's a typical case of you get what you pay for.
@northeasterndirtandpropert7974Ай бұрын
I'm pretty satisfied with the features of the KIOTI,but,as stated my biggest complaint is the multi-function sweetspot on the loader control.It always amazes me the number of people who never ran a KUBOTA but still have an opinion on the issue because they bought a KIOTI.There both good tractors,one just has more advanced and refined hydraulics.Thanks for watching.
@reallythough459129 күн бұрын
@@Vermont_EarthWork turn down the rpm. Put it in neutral and throttle down. I work with large equipment everyday. When using an 80ft boom extension on a Lull, I put down stabilizers and throttle up to lift faster. Same on my kioti. If I want to go slower, lower rpm, pump will move slower.
@Vermont_EarthWork29 күн бұрын
@@reallythough4591 I have tried throttling down and it makes little to no difference on the lift on the 3 point issue. It’s just a cheap tractor and to get the tractors lower in price there are things it won’t be able to do as well as the more expensive ones. If you only put 50 hours a year on your tractor its not a big deal but if you use it as much as I do, spending the extra money to get the performance and refinement is well worth that extra cost in my opinion. Kioti just installed a larger electric pump on the suction side of my main pump in hopes it will fix the cavitation issue. I’ll never know as now that the latest fix is in place I am selling it and going back to Kubota and not deal with these cheap tractors ever again.
@reallythough459128 күн бұрын
@Vermont_EarthWork good luck with that. Cavitation is caused by a couple of issues. Clogged filtration, or dead heading, or air in the system. If it's leaking, fix it. If not, and filter is clean, lift less, it's still more than Kubota in capacity. I got 7.5 hours in this week, and that's after working 65+ hours and rebuilding fence, taking care of girl who had chainsaw mishap, etc... I checked Kubota and Mahindra, but for my needs, kioti has worked well. Just got off an 80ft Loll, and the caterpillar hydraulics are smoother, but not so much to justify the the 130k price tag, and kioti makes bobcat, so it's preference and patience.
@Vermont_EarthWork28 күн бұрын
@ the problem is Kioti hasn't been able to fix it. Now more and more of them are having the same problem. It's not a simple problem and they haven't identified root cause but have installed a kit on a few, including mine, which has an electric pump that is installed on the suction side of the main pump. This pump is supposed to prevent air from entering the main pump. I'm not comfortable with this as a solution as it's not fixing the root cause. Only minimizing the symptoms. I have had 3 Kubota tractors over the last 4 decades and never had any problems with any of them. That's just my experience but that is enough for me to stay with I have had the best luck operating. There are also many things on the Kioti that are sub par and don't work well. You get what you pay for I guess. I'm glad you like your Kioti but it's just not up to my standards.

Why would you try to do that kind of work at 1800 RMP?????
@northeasterndirtandpropert79742 ай бұрын
Because I match the job to the machine.No need to scream a diesel needlessly,contrary to the commentors opinions.premature wear on oil,engine.No need to lug it,but no need to scream it either.KUBOTA hydraulics work just fine at 1800 RPM,what KIOTI does in the engineering end is lacking,RPM aint gonna change how oil flows thru an orifice in a manifold,just make it more jumpy.KIOTI needs to design there flow path more effectively in there system,not try to create high flow thru RPM,thats not gonna change anything.look into it.Its all about oil passage.KIOTI ,unless they redesign,will NEVER match KUBOTA hydraulics.BUT,the tractor works just fine if you are not put off by this.Some guys just get butt hurt when the facts come out.

@northeasterndirtandpropert79743 ай бұрын
This all comes back to oil flow design.And that all stems from the manifold that the oil passes thru to get to the control valve,to in turn get to the work area being the cylinders or attachments.This system is a BASIC,cost effective hydraulic system,no doubt designed to keep price down by using symplistic components and old school technology.I would say,not at all trying to redesign what Kioti already has.Just not cost effective.I have heard from viewers that the newer systems are better?I don't know.You just live with it,and go a bit slower.Thanks for commenting.
@kjy293 ай бұрын
Good thing it's an opinion video. Anyone who knows anything knows you don't know how to operate nor how to adjust the settings on the Kioti. You probably don't know because Kubota doesn't have hydraulic adjustments...
@northeasterndirtandpropert79743 ай бұрын
LOL.The video is based on two stock,factory setups comparing KUBOTA to KIOTI hydraulics.Also,you are not adjustng anything on a KIOTI that will allow you to double up on functions at once.What would allow the KIOTI to double function smoothly is the flow of the oil,and which valve or valves get the flow from the stack in a priority fashion.You can adjust all day long,you can't change the path of oil in that circuit,its all path of flow.Its a valving and manifold issue.Now,go and drink one of those SMART water drinks and get back to me.Also,I have to admit,you probably are a cracker jack operator,but your hydraulic theory is subpar.
