Since the N2 nest is mostly void, and as owls don’t build their own, couldn’t a bird community try building a nest a bit further away from our eagles nest?

So great seeing M15 and F23. Love to watch her hustle! Seems so long since we had seen them! Thanks for all the other animals in the video. Hoping for a great season for M15 and F23 and more eaglets. Awesome video Androcat! This was a welcoming sight to see F23. Great captures of the other inhabitants. 🐦🐎 The nests hold so many memories and seeing N2 was sad to see it withering away. Thank you for filling my heart with joy and happiness in seeing M15 and F23. Take care and stay safe. 💞

Dear Androcat, Thankyou so very much for this amazing video. It was so good to see our power couple M and F, now that the live feed is down. I never doubted that they would stay close to their territory, but it is so good to get updates from both you and the other photographers. Both M and F are obviously going through a molt, but still look amazing. F looks very well fed, always watchful. She takes security very seriously. Love the herons and the cattle egret eating the frog. Great filming of M and F on cell tower, looks like someone invaded their airspace, hence the vocalising! I have read that the cell tower is the boundary point between their territory and their neighbours, who I think are Ben and Robin, so I guess they must share it. I saw pictures of one of neighbours with an eaglet on that cell tower a month ago, and i wondered if the eaglet had ever met E23, and gone flying together. Anyway, I look forward to your future updates,your work is very much appreciated.

@wallygator325. YW 🙂. The cell tower once "belonged" to Ozzie and Harriet. Now it "belongs" to the neighbors, and they are typically not around during summer (they were last summer though). They did have a beautiful juvie who would perch there, much darker than E23. Who knows, perhaps the juvies did meet. I saw E23 perched with a subadult, shown in one of my videos, but I did not see the two juvies together. The neighbors do not share the cell tower when they are in territory. The eagles do remind each other of the boundary lines. 😁

@susanmccarty5013. YW 🙂. It's always a good day when we get to see M15 and F23. Yes, N2 is showing signs of deterioration. What a big besutiful snag N2 was. It's a shame Ian did so much damage to the branches, hastening the decline of the branches. 💜

pesyira. YW 🙂. You don't miss a thing in the videos! The herons/egrets always distract me when they are foraging lol. Green herons are so cool, looking completely different when they extend those long necks. F23 is quite the territory guard, just like last summer 😁. It was nice to see her relaxing at her pond. M15 is molting heavily, and handsome as ever! 🩷

Was terrific seeing M15 and F23 again; both guarding their territory. Have missed them,their nest and all the pasture inhabitants. Lovely little Venus is still the star of The Herd! However, sad to see N2 in such terrible shape. Your visit is very much appreciated Androcat. 💜🦅💜

@PriscillaD225. YW 🙂. They are doing the same things they always do in the summer, and F23 is quite the territory guard lol. Of course, she has to leave a piece of food in a random spot lol. Venus is such a little cutie! It was amazing N2 withstood the hurricane back on 9-28-22, but it is definitely showing what a couple of seasons of pouncing owlets will do to a nest. There are plenty of hawks around, so I will keep hoping the owls will find a nice red-tailed hawk nest to use. 🙏🏻💙

Thank you Androcat for this really cool and nice video of our sweet and precious Eagle couple M15 and LadyF23. But if I may say (in a loving way) these two (M&F) sure were looking pretty haggard and like they really had a lot of partying going on the night before 😂❤️🥰🦅🦅. The reason I say that is cause their feathers sire were looking messy but, I’m sure they could have been going through molting at that time. But, I’m glad you did put a video out of them cause I’m missing them a lot and with the heavy rains have been wondering how the nest held up and if they’re still in the area. @susanmorris5520. YW 🙂. Too funny, a lot of partying the night before. They do look rough, but beautiful, during energy intensive molt. On the tower, the wind was blowing their feathers, making them stick out lol. You can even see M's little white feathers on the "shoulder" area in the distant view. They are doing the same thing they every summer, watching over the territory. 😊❤️

Happy to see Cheyenne is able to nap and rest in their safe place; the nest. The crop drops were another bonus for us to see. Cheyenne must use a great deal of energy navigating in the Kansas winds. Absolutely enjoyed seeing this video Androcat. Tyvm 💜🦅💜

Harvey shows his great timing, tracking Cheyenne in and takes off just at the right moment not to get toes bit. Of course he had to wait till last second he wanted to make sure Cheyenne got it and not Ellie. Poor Ellie gets no bites cause Cheyenne was not in mood to be fed. 😊

Ellie doing some housekeeping on the nest so maybe they’ll start using the nest more. Was good to see Cheyenne protect and gobble that fishy down. Wichita having too much fun playing with the other juvies in the area. Harvey and Ellie taking care of both Cheyenne and Wichita. Tyvm Androcat 💜🦅💜
