Never buy a French bulldog! You are supporting unethical breeding practises. These dogs' "funny " faces and a "little difficulty breathing" are the result of poor breeding and are nothing to smile or laugh about. Our Husky is almost 8 years old. We got her when she was only 6 weeks old. We love everything about her...except one thing...SHEDDING! Our Roombas cannot keep up with all her shedding. We've tried taking her the groomer but within a week she's shedding again. We've tried brushing her but we just can't keep up.

I had one in the 70's he was a fantastic family dog. Today I have what appears to be a ( I rescued ) 5 month old canis Panther Dog. She got out yesterday I'm 62 and on oxygen I had to take it off to go after her, I couldn't do I got weak as my oxygen level plumated I couldn't hold her back, it was like she lost her mind she would look at me as I was standing back up and would lunge back at the other dog it took a neighbor man to come and help me thank God because I was loosing the battle. My dog did not know this man, he walked right up to us and grabbed her collar she was barking back and forth as he was coming up to us she glanced at him and lunged back at the other dog? (There was a fence between them). I was done, I needed my oxygen. I stood back up grabbed her collar and pushed her through the gate while the man put a post in the ground at the fence where she got out. Needless to say I feel defeated and I'm worried she thinks she gained dominance over me. They say dogs only remember things for a few minutes so how do they remember 1000 plus words/commands? I put down my foot down so to speak. I acted like an idiot trying to get her back on our property. No I didn't use negative or physical punishment ( that's why I rescued/took over. ) She has been on the leash and I am firmly giving commands using her kibble. She has been good all day today but I feel like I got hit by a Mac truck.

My Siberian barks at specific dogs, she goes after varmets, and killed one of my cats. My Alaskan husky barks at men, he will bite, growl and howel. And he dislocated my outdoor cats jaw. They both do not go after cats anymore! I used these tragedies to train them, but recommend puppy husky growing up with kitty cats to avoid this altogether.

Not all are small...... mine is at 37 lbs at ten months. And he stays out in the backyard so if he farts, snores, or wants to tear up shoes or furniture...... well that problem is solved.

I live in the country and my neighbor has one of these dogs. He's kept fenced all the time and I've never seen him out walking in 4 years. He barks constantly, terrifies the neighbors, and is annoying AF. It's not his fault. Terrible owner who doesn't know what the hell she's doing.
