It has a long history, first Baba was called Babka and made in Poland, then somehow ended up in France and French cooks brought it to Naples!

Just a reminder to everyone, pasta is flour and egg.
@davandj
@davandj 3 күн бұрын
Thanks for the comment! Actually it doesn't always have egg, the most common store pasta doesn't. Also it's true that pasta is flour but that flour can be wildly different depending on the wheat it was used and that changes things a lot

If after eating mozzarella you feel full and kind of weird it may be a problem of intolerance to lactoce. Have you ever checked it up?

the real buffalo mozzarela must be extremely milky, if a buffalo mozzarella in not milky, it means that is not fresh and very bad quality, the real buffalo mozzarella is produced only in Campania Region, that's why DOP (protected origin). So in Sicily you ate a fake one (lol) you scared about a good quality product, strange world :)
@davandj
@davandj 3 күн бұрын
Thanks for the comment! The one in Sicily was also buffalo straight from the buffalo farm, (it's in our Hidden Southern Sicily video) the taste of this one from Campania is different, very delicious! J doesn't really like dairy and milk, that's why she was not happy with the milk oozing out but Davide ate the whole thing and was amazing!
